Well, they did say they'll try to get friends in the same leagues.

Ah, here it is.
I meant to reply to this, but there was nothing really that I could say. It was undeniably true.
However it did make me want to play Fizz again.
So 2 months later, I present my lightning fast rebuttal of such low-down, untrue and smearing remarks by skumbag terror!
10 ranked wins in a row over the weekend (not counting that team game where you guys sent me bot to ADC with the inevitable outcome).
Agree with most of the discussion that took place on Fizz: deceptively hard champ to get to grips with, particularly his E and lategame teamfighting.
However I'm liking him for all the reasons I liked pre-rework Kat: excellent roamer, strong duellist able to pick up kills 1 on 1 in mid, great mobility, burst and turret diving.
Probably the most absurd game of LOL I've played to date was with Fizz:
No, it wasn't a bot game. Yes, they were all level 30.
Happened because of various DCs, early game was a stomp for us, then our MF disconnected at level 16. Clearly he decided the game was over, and rejoined 15-20 minutes later with the opener "Oh, this game is still going is it?".
Can't recall any other game where I've bought, sold, rebought, resold a Guardian Angel.
On a final note:
Coming around to the new League system. More grindy, but atmosphere in champ select seems to be a bit more relaxed.
Not entirely sure current system is properly taking into account duo queues - winning an abnormally higher percentage of duo queue games over solo.
In addition, I can see one easy way to game the system: - Ordinarily ranked game rewards take into account relative Elo/LP. So if you're a plat player in a game with a bunch of bronzes, you shouldn't get much credit for carrying and winning said game (correct?). Or to put another way, you shouldn't progress very far as a plat player in a plat league just by queueing with a bronze support and carrying the game because the other players in the game are easy meat for you.
- However the best of 3/5 in order to move up a division/tier don't take into account Elo/LP gains, they're simply straight win or loss outcomes.
- So if you're a Plat I player looking to win your best of 5 to get into the Challenger division, I don't see any reason why you couldn't queue with a Bronze V and likely pick up some easier wins.

On Sullla's recent Jungle Kayle vid, I was all like "Hey, I tried that a while ago. It's pro viable now????"

Has been forever. Kayle's kit really makes her work everywhere; Dyrus discovered her before she was FotM (like she is now) but he restricted himself to playing her top lane as a support damage dealer. She wasn't terribly strong with an AP build maybe, but Liandry and stuff made it better.

Actually looking forward to how much CRS and CLG progress. They both looked pretty strong going into it.
Speaking of the CLG vs TSM match...
This site here has the brackets and game wins for this series:

Terror, CLG's bot lane was dominant yesterday not because they necessarily outplayed the TSM bottom lane, but because they used Syndra to steal the enemy blue buff at level one and gave it to Urgot. That was an amazing play, as it's simply impossible to defeat an Urgot/Taric lane when Urgot starts the game with blue. TSM was playing Ezreal/Lulu, and they had absolutely no way to trade effectively or out-sustain the damage. CLG snowballed the entire game off of stomping that lane; they basically won the game with that level 1 blue steal. Tremendous stuff but it's also important to keep things in context. CLG's bot lane wasn't dominant at all in their second match against GGU, while TSM's bot lane absolutely crushed in their second game against Vulcan. I still need to see a lot more from aphromoo on support at this point before branding CLG the favorites.

It doesn't look well for CLG in the CLG/Curse game so far...
