Yeah it's a horse drawn wagon. And my horse is named Vera. Vera is prone to socializing, as long as your horse doesn't try to make any moves on her. If he does, it won't be pretty.

I suppose I may tether my horse to the wagon then ^_^
( My horse's name is Guinevere, so I don't think that will be a problem ![]() ------------------ http://paizo.com/threads/rzs2kkme?Efficient-Quiver This thread led me to start thinking about bow storage and bow stringing in general. DM Question1: Stringing the Bow ... are we just gonna hand waive this and consider it part of the move action to ready a weapon? (or just ignore this aspect of weapons detail entirely, as I had assumed from day 1) DM Question2: If Stringing the bow takes longer than a move action, will it matter if I have a strung bow on my person, or will I have to store it unstrung. (perhaps strung if on person, or unstrung if in a storage container). Thank you ^_^
I'm going to say we pretty much are going to force Tasunke to go with a gelding or a mare. Rather not have to have our rogues roll combat encounters on a regular basis.
If only you and me and dead people know hex, then only deaf people know hex.
I write RPG adventures, and blog about it, check it out. (February 11th, 2013, 14:25)Tasunke Wrote: Interesting. Oh, re-read the Pathfinder description. Hm. Yeah, I guess Masterwork would remove the flaw of breakage in this case. I defer to DMs on this. Ref: http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/ultim...l#_fragile As for multiple Bows, typically you acn sling a spare Shortbow onto your back or something like that. But it's a pain to get out in battle, unlike a sword. Tethers are usually the best for your horse. Although typically just taking their riding reins and tie them somewhere like a tree branch. =p

What's a gelding?* And yes my horse is female. an ALPHA female ^_^
(horse herds tend to have a matriarchal hierarchy ... not that Guinevere is part of a pack mind you ...) *found out what a gelding is ... animal cruelty! Speaking of which, why is Mattimeo stabbing my horse becoming a common theme ... I thought was a joke, but do Stallions just have a bad rap for attacking rogues or something? Btw Brick is a cleric, not a rogue, but I can understand that he would not appreciate his horse becoming 'distracted' or in other ways preoccupied from her wagon duties ![]() (February 11th, 2013, 15:06)spellman Wrote: As for multiple Bows, typically you can sling a spare Shortbow onto your back or something like that. I suppose I could just leave the shortbow in the Saddlebags tbh ... but really worried the GM is going to do something evil to my horse ![]() http://www.grozerarchery.com/acc/tegez/torok_1.jpg Looks like the horse bow (a recurve bow, for our purposes probably a type of Composite ShortBow) was stored strung. Or could be, at least. Typically its not good to store strung bows for extended periods of time, but I suppose if the bow scabbard is hanging off the side of a horse, in battle, it would be useful to just draw it out and use it when needed ... so that you can use both hands while you are outside of combat. So you are saying that if I choose to become a horse archer, or simply use my horse in combat, you will attack it ... (?)
and gelding ... that's just a linguistic thing. Of course I knew what castration was. Gelding just didn't click in the linguistic part of my brain.
