I salute your valiant spirit, Pirates. I was thinking more of Lewwyn, and I see he has indeed gone and set up an advertisement.

It's BTS.

Rules and settings are in the settings vote thread, in this post and following posts.

I think so that all the players in the team can log in now and then and contribute to the discussion...

Yeah, that was the main reason it was set up that way. That was also when each team was expected to contain at least 8-10 people or more which would be participating in the discussions and decisions.
Though it's also a good thing and way to prevent double-move shenanigans. I kinda like it as then you don't have to try to race to be the first to play once a turn flips or something like that. Yeah it makes things a little slower, but for me anyway (since I have so much going on this year with getting married in 6 months) that actually works out great.

It suits my schedule pretty well too. But being able to play a couple of turns back to back every now and then might be nice.

Playing as a PBEM instead would prevent the double move stuff, but some odd things happen with trade routes, it's possible to do some sneaky stuff, and the team would only ever see the start of a turn unless the turnplayer reported well, so this is a fairer but slower system...
