Feeling sympathy for him left without experienced team mates to run this game pretty much solo. I also respect his attitude of not giving up playing turns on timely manner. There is clear danger they'll get run over by Gillette assisted by Pirates at some point.

HAK: yeah, well the religious buildings will have to be next...once we get the techs that can build them. We can't even build monateries and temples yet. LOL
I obviously screwed up somewhere such that we're rapidly falling behind you & Gillette.

Chat with HAK. I didn't want to go directly on to main point i.e. missionary so I started asking them about NAP and implying that we might be ready to assist in case war seems likely. I'm not sure how much we can/want to help them in case they don't get NAP, but I'm quite confident they'll easily get it and we gain some +points in diplomacy when we appear helpful now.

We're building our own missionaries and there is a limit how many can be in transit so it might be best, if you move yours and spread instead of gifting it to us

HAK: I'm thinking of making a post just to make sure they saw the email, since it's to their general mailbox. It's possible they didn't check it. Though for ours, I have it forwarding a copy to my own personal mailbox so that I always see when something comes in.

btw. Both TEAM and Gillette are putting EPs on us at the moment.

If you want to respond by mail I can suggest something. If you want to chat with him, just do your thing. You've got an honest tone that I think comes across well.

I guess our thoughts on the other teams are that we thought Gillette would run away with the game while we were warring TEAM, but after the mutually beneficial peace treaty, we now feel that TEAM and Gillette are equally strong competitors. We think M3 is a little further behind, so we've decided to prop them up by adopting their religion, and we think Pirates are out of the race. We're on good terms with everybody, and for now our plan is to win by outbuilding everybody else, as we are much too evenly matched with our neighbors for war to make any sense.

Too honest? I don't really think we're giving away anything important with the above.

Concerning other teams we're in decent terms with everyone and our current plan is to continue that way. It seems to me Gillette, you and us are equally strong competitors. M3 is a little further behind and Pirates are probably out of the race barring some miracle happening.

You probably know we fought an early war that eventually led to pretty equal peace deal and NAP that later was extended up to T145. I take it Lewwyn has briefed you about these. Nevertheless if you've any questions concerning our current deals, feel free to ask.

Chat with Tasunke. Suggesting immediately NAP extension up to T160. Not quite certain how serious he was with it. He types fast and I was interrupted couple of times so wasn't really responsive. Extension would be good for us, but I think it is better not to look too eager. I don't think ROP ios worth much as is so I suggested also dropping that, but please say, if you think that is bad idea. I forwarded him later a chat where we discussed about the deal.
