No problem if you have another teammate ready or don't want to team up with me. If that's the case, feel free to drop my signup, because there's not room left for another team, as far as I can tell.
Ichabod, I'm happy to have you on my team. But, to be blunt, I am a bit worried about you being unreliable as a main turnplayer, and I would like to see if I can find someone else for this role first. Hope you don't take offense. I would be glad to have you on.

It's worth considering. I think it's an unnecessary restriction given the snake pick. There is already a natural tendency to choose different traits for your leaders because of the nature of the game and the fact that you get early and late picks.

Of course.

The worries are justifiable, no offense taken. I'll take a ded-lurker seat and try to be a better ded-lurker than I usually am.

By the way, I would like to point out that team HitAnyHumanHydrasYouComeAcross does need some more members and in particular could use some veteran involvement.

That's not true (not even for simultaneous PB!).
If we decide on AW, I wouldn't mind the snake pick like StM wrote, although I don't like that teams 1 and 4 get back-to-back picks and the others don't. However, if we are just doing AI diplo, then the trade route bug is a big deal and IMO not even 4321 x4 is enough to counterbalance all the advantages of being first in turn order.
Have a strong preference for AW to avoid shenanigans like this, having teammates will make up for no diplo. Merovech was correct on my preference for snakepicking.

+1 Even though Seven rightly pointed out that one trait per team won't affect much, I'd still like it just for variance.

1 trait per team could get really awkward/inconvenient without duplicates allowed
Please don't go. The drones need you. They look up to you.

Not really... you still have about 30 leaders to pick from after choosing your first leader. So even with last pick you'll have like 25 to choose from even if no one picks either of the traits you picked the first time.

Even just lightly considering it, there are plenty of good options available. 1 trait per team is probably going to happen either way.
