A new thought: There are horses north now, so we could grab those horses instead, and claim one of the furs in the south 20 turns later with Citadel's border expansion. Is the faster happiness worth it in long term to have a city south with only a few good tiles and to delay expansion elsewhere? I'll have to consider this.

Well, the first scout did get BW, but the scouts had really bad luck indeed.
AT must be the population leader with charismatic stonehedge. Is he the one who got stonehedge?
Maybe the jungle axe can get woodsman2. It would be useful.
EDIT. The furs city is good, it is closer, Citadel is building WB, happiness is very useful.
EDIT2. This is a large map, there should be enough time to grab enough land.

Yeah AT got Stonehenge. I agree with everything.
What we've scouted should pretty much be "our" land.
I'm just a really paranoid guy. Things aren't supposed to go this well for me!

That deserved it's own post.
Here's the rest of the turn.
Noveria was founded. I went ahead with the original plan despite getting hereditary rule in advance. Already making the next settler though! So far no ivory in the jungle, but our axe will keep searching. Increasing happiness will be our next big thing to do, and to do that we need units. Thessia will be spamming units. Eden Prime will build settlers, and Citadel workers. Those two can be flexible though. Noveria and other new cities will build whatever buildings they need. In Noveria's case I started a granary. We will build a lighthouse once we have sailing. Does anyone want city screen pics, or is the overall image enough to figure out what's going on?
I set research to Alphabet, but we can still change it before the turn rolls over.
We did not revolt to HR yet, need to get that axe out so our archer doesn't have to kill any more barbs around Eden Prime.
One of the following players built The Pyramids: TT, Cornflakes, Brick.
We can also see 2metraninja's graphs now. Here are a few:

Looks like there is a barb city in the jungle.
Alpha sounds very good. What then? Math, Calendar? Or Math, Currency? Of calendar resources we have spices and incense.
The next city will be between the lake and the peak. (We might want to chop the forest if there is a lazy worker available.) Then the incense spot. Then we have 2 options: the west wines and the east sheep island. The wines gives happiness, the sheep gives trade.
Nice graphs. But everyone might start to think that we are the leader and dogpile.

Sailing and Mathematics for sure. Let's also look at what we can trade for, once we have Alphabet.
Definitely a barb city somewhere around us, already a third barbarian in a short time approaching from the north-west.
We might want to skip the filler city and go straight for incense spot.
The Great Wall was built. Either by Brick or Cornflakes.
For spies. Now I'm happy we haven't met them yet
It was definitely the right call to ignore world wonders for now. With a random map, these industrious leaders could even have marble and stone to speed them along.
Perhaps we could grab a wonder by generating a Great Engineer from working specialists.

Long live king!
1S of the purple spot's cows looks like a coast, if so, it can work both lakes with lighthouse.
There is a plains hill SWSE of the wines, it gets corn. It looks good as a borderish city with extra hills defense, like the incense city east.
We need a couple of chariots to scout asap, to find the borders of others.

Yup, horses are being hooked up.
I like the purple spot. It has plenty good tiles without the lakes.
