So its quite possible you are still 30 ft behind me assuming you are stealthing and are 2 move actions 'behind' me. Although I suppose we haven't rolled initiative yet ... isn't it just Dex bonus? If so my initiative bonus is +4

ooc - So I am 30ft behind you and 30ft ahead of the group, unless anyone else is moving during these two rounds. You are now 60ft towards the shouts. Anyone on a horse dismounts (standard action ) and chases after you is 15ft behind you.

Thoven casts gravity bow and moves after Bradwyn.

ooc - I'm now 45ft behind tas who is 90 ft from party. I think everyone can add in their action to these 3 rounds however they want. Just to be clear I'm writing these rounds now so that people know what I'm doing as I'm moving and hopefully doing it far enough away from whatever is going on so that they don't hear me casting the spells.

Well, given Bradwyn seems to be intent on announcing our presence (you do know that it's hard to be stealthy when you're moving at full speed, right?), I guess we should make preparations for when whoever is the cause of this disturbance figures out that he's unlikely to have been alone.

Anyone volunteering to watch the horses? If not, I'll tie mine up to a tree just off the road.
Stealth (7 + 9 = 16) and start moving cautiously (ie. at a speed to not attract penalties to stealth) in the direction Bradwyn is crashing off in, with the intention of stopping when I can see the origin of the noises.
Not drawing any weapons just yet, and keeping a watchful eye (and ear) out for anything approaching (or hiding in wait).

Perception is 9, if you hadn't just read it off my character sheet already. (Speaking of, could we get the first post updated? I think it's only missing Tasunke. Do the PDF ones mirror any updates made automatically?)

Probably going to take a few rounds to get the horse set up, and I'll be moving slower anyway, so I'll be a fair way behind anyone rushing off.

---> just to be clear, isn't moving half speed considered, I dunno, not full speed? Or in other words, that would mean 30 ft in a round rather than 60 ft right? (aka, normal speed 60ft one round if nothing but movement, or 120 ft in one straight line if running/charging.)

Therefore, shouldn't moving half-speed (stealth) allow for 30 feet in one round? (15 ft per movement action)

Mara rolls her eyes inwardly at Bradwyn, and thinks Mariel has the right idea. Besides, crossbows work better if you have a bit of range.

She ties her horse up to a convenient tree, and moves cautiously in the direction of the noise - weapons to hand but not drawn/loaded. She intends to stop before she goes crashing into the whatever it is, hopefully when she can see what's going on.

Stealth: 16 + 6 = 22.
Perception bonus: 6

I also tie my horse and I draw my sword and get my shield. I stay back in order not to alert whoever is at the side of the road. I would get a little closer without having a big risk to startle whoever is by the road, but I don't know how far we are.

It's hard to say exactly since the noises are still faint and you're not sure what's making them, but your best guess is about 200 ft. About 100ft to the little ridge.

After spending a moment in thought, Kilthan also begins to creep toward the sounds. He leaves his axe in his belt, though, instead taking out a sketchpad and a charcoal stick.
