re gravyards.
usually it is best to keep them safe in your culture:
two things may happen
-you get lifeIII somehow, preferably very quickly (Hemah or gibbon...if you are not elohim nor amurite) and cast resurrection ... you get a "free" champion (and reduction of AC IIRC) with IIRC 10xp or so. Getting a free champion might be really powerful depending on you tech rate /dedication / other civs.
-you explore the graveyard : 25% chance to get a free tech. Here, it depends on your pref. getting a free tech early might be worth more than a free expensive tech latter... or not (but the late tech can be a cheap one if you forgot to research sailing....)
then graveyard only "bad" result is skellies... while boni are gold, jade torc/air rod?/timor mask or free tech.
good luck with the clowns :D

More stuff on graveyards (from the FfH manual):
• Raise Skeleton produces 3 skeletons instead of 1 when cast here
• Grants a Host of the Einherjar and lowers the AC if Sanctified
• Grants a Champion if Resurrection is cast here
• Can Rob Grave for a random result
• Each of these actions result in the destruction of the Graveyard
Also, Ars Moriendi can convert a graveyard to three Wraiths, if any are left by that point.

.High gold
.Low gold
.Skeleton (hostile)
.Spectre (hostile)
.Tech
So tech chance is 20%, not 25%. 60% chance of positive result is better than a lair, but still far from a sure thing.

seems strange. I don't remember ever having had a spectre from lair... mostly money. and techs (and skellis)

I think I popped spectres from a Graveyard once in one of the first SP games I played. Oh, no, wait, it might have been mistforms out of a smoking forest. That wasn't pleasant.

At least spectres aren't invisible. Just don't let them upgrade to wraiths.

What's this? A save?
This one thing I crave?

What a fitting place for one so deranged.
I was planning to go right for the caged unit, but I figure I might as well pop that hut. As for the red terrain to the right, what is that? Is that hell terrain? I haven't played far enough on my own for it to ever appear, so I'm not sure what it's supposed to look like. I suppose I'll see next turn.
Incense to the northwest is on a plains hill. Settling north of the rice seems like a safe bet, though I'll have to see what else my Warrior spots as the turns progress. He'll go NW, NW in the next two turns, I think.
On another note, I was not prompted for a password when I opened this up. It's been so long since I've played, I have no idea if I was prompted for a password on this game's first turn or not (I recall one play where I did not get that prompt). I'm posting this here rather than in the tech thread because I don't want the other players to know that my saves are wide open right now.

The red terrain is probably burning sands, the hell terrain replacement of desert and flood plains. If there is fire on the tiles (which would happen normally) you'll not be able to pass it.
I'd keep my mind open on the rice spot for the moment. PH incense is not so hot a tile that we have to get it inside the BFC.
Regarding the password, did you set one, on the replacement start turn save? That could be the reason why you don't have one now.

I'm certain that if I got a prompt to set a password, I'd have set it. Hm, can I still change/set that by going to my settings in-game?
Also, this all may be moot because it sounds like the wrong save got passed around again???

I swear to the Mirthful Messiahs that I will see Tasunke destroyed by the time this is done!
(I mean, I will if I can, but historically I've been really bad at eliminating anyone, so....)
