Hey take a peak in the banter thread =)
I so hope they start a 2 on 1 we'll talk along but in the end we won't be able to provide anything in time. With a little time we can expand more get our basic infra in and start building an army.
I firmly believe vampires are not the issue. They are 3 movers with haste but if they get hit by dmg. AoE spells first tyou can mop them up easy depending on positioning. I think it's gonna come down to who outmaneuvers the other. If you burn a few key cities it might be enough to win a war of attrition.
Keelyn changes that game somewhat by the sheer mass of summons you gotta kill before you get to the real units. However with enough life two mages you should be able to kill all their summons. I don't know how many units get hit per spell though gotta test that if it becomes relevant.
Thats why the OO idea came up, looking at this map it looks like there are little water tiles and little fresh water lakes with yummy seafood all over the map, I would have settled near them for obvious reasons.
Hasted commando mob 1 cultists could easily reach a water tile next to a city or a stack and unleash tornados after which defenders/attackers won't matter that much anymore. Followed up by iron chariots which we could built right now (iron 7 turns to go if we land the mines).
Bear in mind I'm kind of a newbie, so if I'm wrong: say so!
