I managed to get MOO2. Is it good compared to 1? I got intrested in the game thanks to Sullas lets play and I was wondering how different are they?

Well, they're similar in that both are turn-based 4X space games, and many of the default races have the same names and similar types of racial bonuses. They don't "feel" (to me at least) very similar to each other though; I think MoO2 is closer to Master of Magic than to MoO actually. I had a lot of fun with MoO2 for a few years when I first got it, so I can recommend it, but it's been years since I really played, and it isn't very similar to (nor, I think, does it have the staying power of) MoO.

I got MOO 1 working aswell. I can't believe these games are dos games. So much complexity.
