We can't whip DQ yet. But we could do it next turn. Otherwise I'm in agreement, I'll log in and wrap things up.

Done. Also, should we consider offering OB to Commodore? We're nearly out of foreign trade routes until we make contact with somebody new. I think FG may have to settle for some domestic routes for instance if we don't sign more OB. Well, for now we're ok so we could wait. Once FG comes out of revolt we'll be getting 30 foreign routes, and Lewwyn, Azza, Serdoa, and Xenu combine for 35 cities right now. Though I'm expecting Xenu's will continue dropping.

We really should take one of our galleys and go try to complete our list of contacts. That would help us quite a bit.

I meant to say if they waited 1 turn, wouldn't it be kept because of the palace culture?

A city must hit size 2 before it can be captured. It doesn't need to remain at size 2 though - you can keep a sz1 city if (and only if) it has been size 2 at some point in the past.

So yeah, not possible to keep unfortunately.

xenu signed peace with Serdoa. I think he also signed peace with Brick.

Oh I know, we've decided the rest of our game is a constant race to catch the next guy on the scoreboard before he gets killed lol. We currently STILL have 0 land points since all our cities have happened in under 20 turns, so I'm hoping when those kick in it will catapult us above Merohoc. smile

lol I was about to contradict this but you're right! We captured IW on t117, but it was since razed so we won't get any land points until we get the points for Sid's Sushi. So t140 should give us our first land points

Taking a peek at the save to get a monarchy ETA, and Scooter - we moved all our fogbusters away. Let's move one of those impi back to the center of the island. Last thing we need is a barbarian surprise coming down one of our roads toward Sid's Sushi.

Anyhow, next settler is due out of Culver's at end of turn 141. It will reach the site on t144 and found on t145 (it'd be 144 if we want to divert a worker to road the desert tile it will settle on, but I don't think that's worth the worker-turns). This means we need Domino's to finish a work boat end of t143 so we can connect the clam right away. Keep in mind that t143 is likely going to be the turn we revolt to HR/OR, so we really need it out of there by t142.

So i think the only way that work boat gets built in time is if we swap Domino's to a wb on t141 (the turn it grows to size 3) and then whip it on t142. Yep, we're delaying Domino's granary again if we do this. So what's more important? Getting a granary at dominos or a work boat at the new iron city?

Edit: Actually, I think we should do the work boat whip. Because if we wait to whip the granary at Domino's until after we revolt into OR then we'll only need 23/60h into the granary to 1t whip it. And that will be sooner than the time it takes Domino's to grow to size 4.
