I updated the map to represent current positions of people who stated a destination square (Mara, Mariel, Menas). Grouk and Gunther need to sort out who's stepping where, since Menas is stopping Grouk from stepping straight forward (and flanking is likely to matter to certain people). I'd assume Bradwyn is retreating straight back, rather than including one diagonal step, but that's only an assumption, and has therefore not been updated. Thoven is stuck rising or falling, lacking lateral movement unless faced with a stiff breeze.

I just changed the colours on people to match Mardoc's colour scheme - so the people you couldn't move are now back to "black" for not-moved (edit: And called it "Round 6(7?)" coz I think we are now round 7 but I'm not 100% sure.)

damage was a 3.
And I meant the cover penalty.
I have precise shot ... so there won't be any penalty for him being engaged in melee.
-----
Edit: Once I have improved precise shot, I won't get any penalties for cover or concealment either

Sorry, guys, I had more going on this morning than I expected. Not sure when my schedule will clear up, either - maybe this weekend, maybe not til Monday.

The round starts off well for you guys, with Thoven's arrow punishing the Ogre he's angered. Mariel follows the charging Ogre with a nicely placed dagger to the kidneys, while Mara puts another telling shot into Thoven's foe.
When Mara retreats, the Ogre she shot at tries to bash her for her impertinence. Fortunately, it's thrown off by the pain, and misses her by a mile (rolled a 3!)
The straightforward bashing inflicted by Menas and Grouk staggers the Ogre who'd charged, and Gunther's axe blow does, indeed, gut the beast. It falls, dead.
Thoven's foe howls in disgust at Thoven's retreat upward, but doesn't try for him again. Instead, he yells out 'SNEAKS!' and bashes at Mariel with a very long arm....
But Mariel dodges nimbly out of the way of the descending club, and remains uninjured.
Back to you guys. One wounded Ogre remains.

Thoven gets really excited and tries to shoot the Ogre again, but in his haste he loses his balance and tumbles upside down in the air and the arrow goes off into the sky.
Rolled a 1...
He tries to right himself by swimming.
(End move)
@Mardoc do you want us to reroll on critical misses to see if we hurt ourselves?

I might wait 'til others have positioned themselves before attempting to poke the half blinded one. Chances are it can be induced to fall over without my assistance.

Some questions: Can I go over the dead ogre body to attack the other ogre? If I can do it, I'll have to travel 4 squares (2 diagonal, that count like 3, if I remember correctly and another one vertically), which is 20 feet. Can I walk this distance and still attack? Is the limit 30 feet?
If I can't, I wonder if I can do that "rush" move I did last turn. I think I can't, due to there being an ogre in the way.

Anyway, before anything else, Menas says:
"Someone go help that poor sod that is tied down there!"

It's a common house rule. Don't think it's officially part of the game, but I've seen it more often than not. Basic idea is that if you roll a 1, you roll to confirm (like a critical, only a confirm is another 1) and if you get the second 1, something bad happens to you per DM discretion, usually of the magnitude of 'roll your damage anyway, but it hits you instead'. Although it's a good time to insert humorous stuff instead, like, oh, losing your balance on the air and needing to spend a turn righting yourself .
Think I'll put that up to a vote - adding randomness like this is usually bad for the party, but it also tends to result in memorable moments. So far you guys seem to be doing pretty well

Is the limit 30 feet? You can, but I'm going to rule that it's difficult terrain due to the body, which reduces you to half speed and prevents you from running or charging through the space.
Your movement limit is 20 ft per move action, because you're wearing heavy armor. It would be 30 otherwise. Moving through the Ogre would cost double, for a total of 30 ft consumed, and then another 5 at the end. Net result is that you can move where you described, but not attack at the end.

Charging requires that you move in a straight line. I don't remember the map perfectly, but if you can't move in a straight line, you can't charge. I think you're describing it correctly, but maybe someone who can currently see the map can confirm?
