Even without knowing the theme, surely your role PM tells you *what* you are?

Just to be clear, this is a self-imposed restriction as part of your promise not to spam, right?

Unfounded: self imposed yeah.
And yes I know what my role is.

But why do you say you're "something called scruffy"? Seems an odd way to talk about your character (not role).

Ah yeah I get what your saying now.
Its called reading pm, only noticing role/name, going to sleep and waking up and posting here.
No offence to azza, but I'm uninterested in the explanation that I'm a janitor who'sannoyed at the death and wants to catch the killers.
8/10 (this isn't going to last long is it )

Seriously read the end of the wolf thread in '20 - Ryan does NOT fake z thing!

(Btw the fact that I don't know what this is based on is indicative of my intention not to roleplay)
I think id like to see some early pressure on Ryan this game.

So you definitely agree that we need to hurry up and character claim, even though you don't know anything at all about the theme?
Then what makes you think there is anything to gain from the mass claim?
This smells like you were given a safe claim and are just eager to get it out there.
If you know what I mean.

No.
I think that we should get claims out of the way early so they don't distract from the hunting.
If there is anything to gain I won't be the one doing it.

Hello my fellow futurites! It's good to see so many friends and murderers back together again.
Q, to make sure I fully understand you - are you talking about claiming our character names, or their powers? If it's just our names, why are others averse to it? Is it because we think that Azza might have been biased towards Wolfing Up certain characters? Like Kiff...I always thought he had the makings of a killer....
I am willing to say that I am -not- Dr Zoidberg, and that was something of a disappointment.
In the meantime, Mattimeo, because we should get him talking early to try and avoid the embarrassing mistakes of the past.
Now previewing post, just to be sure...

I don't feel strongly about it. But I don't know if there are any particular characters that strike me as much more likely to be scum than the others. I guess there are a couple that seem likely to be town, though. It's not clear to me how "outing" these characters will be useful.
So it's kind of scummy that Qgqqqqq urges this on as something to just get out of the way. I don't know that the scum would actually need safe claims (see above), but he did give me the feeling of someone wanting to get his claim in early, perhaps encouraging others to follow, too.
It's the best I've got in terms of scum tells, so far.

To elaborate a bit, this doesn't make much sense to me. Why would we be distracted by the fact that people haven't claimed their characters? If you think it's a pointless exercise (which you seem to imply), then why go through with it? If anything, that would distract us.
(Not that there is all that much to be distracted from, anyway.)
