Is there an easy way to avoid specific races?

Hi there,
I usually don't like to play when other races can be Klackon, Lizardman, and sometimes Gnoll.
Is there a way to easily remove them from the start?

Go in with the tweaker, check races, and quit if they're wrong?

Sounds more like a mod question.

MAGIC.EXE decides based on a roll of 1-9 which race goes to which city.
These rolls are mapped to the Arcanum races, but that mapping can be altered.
The races rolled for the first 5 cities decide the race of the wizard (except the first which is you).

copy the stats of other races and overwrite the ones you don't like.

it would probably be better to tweak the races that you don't like, in a way that makes you like them. it looks like you don't like races that can't build many buildings. unlock more buildings for them and it will work. as long as you don't exploit it, it won't be a problem either (or reduce the power of their good units at the same time).

I agree.
Each time when I disabled a feature, it just made me feel the game became less, so I enabled it again.
It's something else to shift the game balance to your liking without breaking anything.
I suspect you don't really want to eliminate those races, you just don't to see an entire map covered with them the way they are now.
