I wasn't giving Q heat for suggesting a [mass] claim, I was giving him heat for the way he claimed his own character. One of the reasons I want people to claim is we can catch on to (admittedly a red herring in this case) clues like that.
I just don't get the logic Novice - why would being a wolf make Q more likely to be casual/dismissive about naming his character? In general, wouldn't a wolf be more careful with his words? More careful to study his Role PM?
And I hadn't understood how the tiebreak mechanism works, but if it's passive then it makes sense.

This makes me wonder if we're playing the same game. I never said either were scummy as hell. I said I felt Qg was scummy for certain posts and I said I felt Zak was scummy for his attack on me. Serdoa attacked me saying that I was actually voting for Zak without consistency because I said Zak seemed normal outside of his attack on me. In the post where I voted for Zak I could barely decide between the two! And then I flopped back later. You are either projecting thoughts on me and not actually reading, or you are trying to twist the narrative here novice.
What happened to the suspicion on Zak? Just because he was up on the block at the end of the day we're giving him a pass all of a sudden? I still think that his attack on me was scummy and I think he tried very hard to keep a low profile after that. I'm really regretting letting him get away at this point because since he's Zak, if he's scum I don't know if we'll get another chance to lynch him.
Serdoa though, WTH. You say Day 1 that Qg and Gaz are a pair, then Qg is villager but you start today by voting Gaz? Of everyone in this game Gaz is the one I think has been most consistent with his villager self. Why did you vote for him? You voted but then switched away from him to Ryan without ever actually saying why you voted for him in the first place. You also were extremely adamant that Zak was innocent yesterday. Do you still believe that and why?
Serdoa for now.
In case anyone thinks is suspicious that I attacked both Novice and Zak in my posts but don't for them, I can only vote for 1 person at a time... Currently I'm most interested in Serdoa's response.

Novice's ability is demonstrably real, and it also makes sense when correlated with the write-up because his character has an influential family. Of course, it could still be an influential mafia family. With just 2 out of 9 scum (surely there are not 3), then maybe they got a minor boost to their voting power.
I'm not vanilla, but I have already breadcrumbed my ability so I'd rather hear some claims from others first.
I'm starting to think the mod may have lied to us about the random setup, though.
If you know what I mean.

@Lewwyn
I voted for Gazglum because I wanted to see his reaction. I was a prime target to jump on after yesterday as I could very easily be painted as a wolf trying to get Q lynched - and he didn't (at least not in the first post he wrote). So thats enough for me, together with what he posted. As I already wrote in my post directly after his I could agree with his thoughts, though not with the conclusion.
As for zak, I still don't think he is a wolf. Would I vote for him though? Yes I would, there is no one currently playing I wouldn't vote for except me. Would I vote him above anyone else? No, I wouldn't. I certainly would first lynch Mattimeo and Ryan. Ryan is simply to quiet and in general I don't like what I've seen so far (gut feel) and Mattimeo - well, if he is village he hopefully starts to contribute as in a 9-player-game we simply have to lynch the lurkers if nothing better comes up. And I doubt it will.

I think it would be helpful if anyone would simply reveal. Might help, might not help, but at least we have some more information and I get the feeling we need it. So, lets start with me:
As I said, I am vanilla villager without role. My name is Lord Nibbler and I am Leelas pet. I am here to protect the universe from harm. I also have to protect the existence of Planet Express, though reasons cannot be told (that states my role-PM, it is not me withholding anything).

For the record, I don’t like what we’ve seen from Ryan either. But, Serdoa, this is my problem with your take on the lurkers (and to be fair, neither were completely absent yesterday).
We have room for one more mislynch, as I count it. Right now we're down to the Q-voters (Serdoa, Lewwyn, Zak, NOvice), me, and the lurkers (Ryan/Matt).
I know I'm innocent, and I think it's very unlikely that Ryan and Matt are the wolf pair. I would bet my bloomers there is a wolf in the Q-voters, and I think it might actually be both wolves. But let’s say for now it’s just the one, and the other is Ryan/Matt.
If we lynch Ryan/Mattimeo, and we’re wrong, we’re down to Lylo, with some very good wolf players left to catch. Even if we hit a wolf in Ryan/Matt, we’re not much further ahead because of their lack of interaction with others. Well, if Ryan is scum, I would feel much better about Zak, but if Mattimeo is scum, we know nothing.
If they’re not giving us many clues, then isn’t it better to leave them more time to get involved? Or for a watcher/scanner type to follow them at night?
Put simply, Ryan and Mattimeo are easier lynches than Zak/Novice/Lewwyn. And I’m suspicious of anyone who wants to keep us focused on lurkers when one or more ‘Super Wolves’ are almost certainly lurking right at the top. And today might be our last chance to get a majority together to stop them.
Having said all that – Ryan, Mattimeo, I’m not going to defend you if you really don’t get involved today. If you are town, then please, please, please do some scum-hunting today, get involved, back up your guesses with arguments. If you’re town, nothing could be worse for our team than the wolves organising a mislynch on you because you didn’t give us enough town vibes.

New post for new thought-line.
Serdoa, you say you doubt something better will come up than the lurkers? I don’t agree, I think we have plenty to analyse from what’s happened so far.
Yesterday, we had a 4/4/1 split, and all 4 Pros lined up to protect Zak. We almost had him on the block. Now I’ve lost two of my voting allies.
As I said, I am sure that there is a wolf in the Q voters. Statistically, from my perspective, it wouldn’t be surprising for both of them to be there, and I’m inclined to think they are. Lewwyn, I’m not letting Zak off the hook, I’m still very suspicious of him. But if he –is- guilty, then I think he has a friend among his voting allies. What did they say yesterday?
Serdoa: Keeps a low profile, but strongly supports Zak’s innocence when the pressure is put on, “I'll keep my vote on Q, simply because I don't want to lose zak as I doubt heavily that he is a wolf”, and that “who is the only one to actually contribute anything meaningful D1” (which I disagree with). Still says he doesn’t think Zak is a wolf, so at least he’s consistent there.
Novice: “Kind of agree with Q in that Zak has a slight "look at me I'm scumhunting" vibe, actually.” – but doesn’t vote Zak.
Lewwyn: “Qq..Zak..QQ..Zak” – doesn’t’ pull his punches against Zak, think he’s giving heavy scum tells, but…at the last hour doesn’t vote for him. Now feels very remorseful.
I think both Novice and Lewwyn could have been distancing here. More likely Novice, because Lewwyn would look more suspicious about changing his vote after such a direct attack. Remember, until Lewwyn changed his vote it looked like Zak was probably going to go down, although it wasn’t certain. There was hope enough of a Q-lynch for Zak’s hypothetical scum buddy to hold their vote on Q, but enough doubt about the outcome they might be wanting to start distancing.
Anyway, Zak wasn’t lynched and Jkaen was killed.
To be honest, I was really surprised that Jkaen was eaten. I thought he’d shown given scummy vibes Day 1, he was hardly a cleared villager. And surely the wolves would rather get rid of someone with a track record of hunting scum hard – Zak or Lewwyn, say. So why kill Jkaen?
Sure, it could have just been to mess with us all, but I think in a 9 player game the simpler answer is more likely to be right. Wolves only have to last a few days. Jkaen had voted for Zak, and shown that he was happy to stick with it. But he’d also cast doubts on almost everyone, so there was no obvious revenge motivation pointing to anybody in particular.
If Zak is scum, he just had a very close shave. But now he’s knocked off 2/4 votes against him. If he’d eaten Lewwyn or me, it would be very clear that he had benefitted from the night kill. Jkaen was a potential danger to him, and killing him helps muddy the waters.
Now Zak can rely on his scum-buddy’s vote, so all he needs to do is keep one of the town Pros onside and he’s suddenly looking a whole lot safer. Especially if he can get said scum-buddy to start building a case on Ryan, Lewwyn or me. Hmm, so far, Zak’s voted Ryan, Serdoa’s voted Ryan and me, and Novice has voted Lewwyn.
PEOPLE LET THE SCALES FALL FROM YOUR EYES! YOUR MASTERS ARE DECEIVING YOU! THEY PROMISE PEACE BUT BENEATH THE VELVET GLOVE IS A FURRY PAW!
I know I could be wrong on Zak, I’ll admit that. But I’m damn sure I’m not wrong that there is a stench of scum coming from his inner circle. And I think today might be our last chance to crack them, if only because I may not be around tomorrow. Zak/Serdoa/Novice/Lewwyn. That’s where the pressure needs to be at the moment.
Zakalwe. If nothing else, finally knowing his alignment would tell us a lot about the others, given how close Day 1s vote was.
