Actually, I was thinking of harassing / rushing Dazed with chariots. Even if there are four players, I think we stand to gain a lot by taking out our neighbor in the western half.

Thanks, Pindicator. It feels like quite a scoop, being last in turn order and non-creative.

On a more peaceful note, the great lighthouse may be good here, with lots of coasts and offshore islands.

We're also up again, for the last hour and a half. Crazy turn pace. I'll play it soon.

Dazed grew his capital to size 3. The scout went N-E, and the warrior decided to peek at the coast nearby. There is no way anyone can have a military unit in range of our second city anyway, so it was better to see if anything there would change our mind. There are cows to go with that sheep in the south, though. So if we settle south we can grab two more AH tiles. Which is nice, since AH and TW are all we have in terms of worker techs, so far.

Had a chat with Mackoti, and we decided that our second city should be coastal, grabbing the clams and fish. It will have an instant trade connection, and can borrow the cows for a five-turn workboat while also growing in five turns. Also, by getting this city started early, we'll be in a stronger position to land the great lighthouse, which would be a great asset. When I looked in the sandbox, it turns out that we probably can grab the horses too with a coastal city. It can have corn in the first ring, but it needs a border pop for the horses. We could save polytheism for that city, or we could land hinduism in our second city, to get the fish. I think I prefer the latter. In any case, our next tech will be fishing, for that workboat and trade connection.

The scout turned around back south, heading towards the nearest unexplored area: A few more turns of scouting now, and we should discover how the eastern and western halves are stitched together, and our map will be mostly complete.
