usually it depends on how long you're away ... if its not for much more than a long weekend (specially if its not unlikely that you'd might be able to play just not consistently) people usually make do ... its first if we start talking a week or more away without being able to get onto it, that people tend to like getting substitutes on board

In general I would encourage to find someone helping if you assume that you will miss more than 2 days in a row. Especially at this point in the game which should be like 2 minutes tops for the moves. But if you can't or you feel not comfortable with it, than just let us know how long we need to pause so that no one is unnecessarily waiting around smile

Yeah this would be 5 days. But I'll either get a sub or be able to play them myself so we'll be okay.

I see it's my turn. Too bad I can't physically install Civ on my work-computer or I could have played these quick turns during daytime.

I have to travel from Tuesday, 26th till Wednesday, 27th for my company. As I'll leave at around 5 AM and return at 11 PM and will have to attend meetings and dinner with suppliers and customers I most certainly won't be able to play my turn in that time. Sorry for that, I'll try to make it work somehow, but in the worst case I'll only return to my hotel room late night on Tuesday after being up the whole day and if thats the case I doubt I actually have the energy to power up the laptop and start civ.
