With response to the Starfall question: the city is working 6 Scientists at the moment and looks like this:
I promise, we will get a galley out of there in time, but the mass Scientist play is infinitely more important right now than scouting out some icy ocean tiles.

To date, we've earned 9018 beakers.
Edu, Lib, Nat'l total: 9000 beakers.
I don't think we disagree here. my point was nationalism alone is worth more than those 3 civs will have produced the entire game, and nationalism, lib, and education will be 3x as such.
edit: maybe 4x. I'm a liberal arts major, I try not to bother with math unless absolutely necessary.
Please don't go. The drones need you. They look up to you.

Would you mind clarifying why Starfall is building wealth when it needs to build a galley, theater, and Globe?

That screenie is from T120, before we had Drama. I think it was for overflow preservation into the theatre.

OK..... but people seem to be asking if we can build a galley first, and Sullla hasn't said no, just that scientists take priority. Starting a galley now would not interfere with the scientist stuff in any way.

I'm guessing that's because we're planning to whip the Galley as soon as we switch back to Slavery, so it doesn't matter how many hammers we have invested.
Something to consider, though, is waiting until ~T132 when we tech Metal Casting, and whip a Trireme. There are a lot of Coast tiles in the fog for barb Galleys to spawn in, and we haven't had the best combat luck in this game. It's not just that a barb Galley might sink our own; we could win and still be so damaged that we have to waste turns healing. If we manage to scout the entire east-west axis and only need a few tiles along the north-south axis for circumnavigation, then a fast Galley makes sense. Otherwise, we might wanna wait for a Trireme. Or, y'know, whip both.
The Great Wall doesn't work offshore, does it? Meaning we'll need to defend that Crab and other southern seafood forever?

Yes it would matter, because more hammers in the galley directly results in more hammers overflowing into the theater and then the Globe Theater.

Some other things.
Our OB agreement with Apolyton doesn't say anything about no-scouting. Not sure where their chariot went after it encountered us.
For those checking out Ceiliazul's graph, I think I should point out that the population are upper bounds for most teams, but lower bounds for Apolyton and Univers. I currently have plenty of unassigned pop (15, modulo the barbs) and land (around 28 tiles). Most of the pop belongs to Apolyton and Univers, but the land is anyone's guess for most teams.
Based on this, I think we should use our scout to get the lay of Apolyton's land. They are one of our main rivals, and visibility on their cities will help a lot in tracking their development.

Thinking of the galley vs theatre in Starfall. Right now we have 10/50H in the theatre, ie getting close to the limit of two-pop whipping it in OR, which I assume we want to do for max overflow.
So I think it makes sense to switch to a galley either this turn (T122) or next turn. Then put hammers into the galley until we revolt out of Caste, whip the theatre into the globe and then the galley into the globe.
That said, from looking at the latest sandbox that Sullla made (for T127), it looks like we will have 8 theatres on T129 (I assume Eastern Dealers and Starfall will whip theirs on T128), and I think we can whip a galley on T130 in Starfall.
But remember that Starfall needs to build a theatre for Globe, start the Globe, get the galley, AND generate out second great scientist for bulbing the rest of Education. Please get the current set of sims and outline how to do that, instead of speaking in generalities.

Here's a straight Taj Mahal run like Sullla requested. Lib eot130, Taj Mahal eot144.

Changes for this turn, turn 122: Work a plains hill mine instead of a grass village in AO, bringing the Market build to 149/150 hammers. Horse Feathers can pick up the grass village.
It looks like we may have to build a little bit of wealth to get enough gold for our Lib run. If so, Focal Point looks like a prime candidate to me. It has no useful infra to build, is hammer heavy, and Horse Feathers can provide military for us once Heroic Epic is in.
I have to run.
