Yeah it could simply say that he's the mafia neighbour, unless neighbourizing is just one of many abilities.
I guess the "a/the" and "town/village" thing isn't damning in itself, but I really dislike the way he went after me after my claim, seer showdown style.

The "a" "the" thing I could put down to a simple mistake which I why I didnt buy into your argument before, but having town in the PM when everybody else has village just seems too odd

Well really, the strange thing is that the PMs differ at all. Like Novice said, if they're both town, why aren't the PMs identical? Maybe they get different flavor texts or something, but still you'd expect some copy/pasting to be going on.
I'd still like to hear a rebuttal from Mattimeo.
Mattimeo, if you're innocent, please step out of character and defend yourself.

I'd been voicing some level of suspicion in every substantial post I made in the QT, and you think it's somehow strange that I act on that when, after obtaining several data points that novice could use to mock up a frame job on me, he immediately proceed to do so? I can't help but assume malicious intent there.
Yes, he *could* be a woefully misguided fellow villager, but the blatant data-gathering before making pretty much the same accusation I was considering ("I'm neighbour, the other one seems to be acting rather weirdly") was enough for me to chuck everything after him.

If you didn't trust Novice, why did you post your reads in the neighbor thread, but not in the game thread?

I was still trying to trust him, up 'til he didn't respond to that post in the QT and instead jumped out here with accusations.
Also, he asked a direct question, and I generally do my best to answer those when they haven't already been covered.

My vote on Novice feels redundant now with this situation to be honest. If Matti is wrong , Does that open the grounds for him being scum? If the whole Novice vs Matti issue will be resolved by lynching one of them so be it. If I am mistaken about this, Please tell me.
Jkean Since my vote doesnt matter anywhere else anyways. Better put pressure on more people.
