GL village.

Oddly enough, I've been hit with a post restriction where I have to quote the previous poster. I guess I'm the old friend referred to in the writeup then.

I don't know why the post restriction action was resolved before the night kill, but there you go.

Previewing - this could get annoying...

So there's nothing else to it than that? You just have to shove a (possibly) unrelated quote from the previous post in your comments?

If Lewwyn was 'compulsive' post restricter, I would say that was anti-town. If Azza's 'power' is being puppeted, yours is being a neighbour to a scum, and Lewwyn's was a silly post-restriction thing, that's not a lot of firepower we're seeing from our roles so far.

Agree that we're likely to have more then two wolves, especially if one is only a neighbour.

Not sure I like gazglums joking, feels like it could be put on to hide some of the stuff he's pushing beneath the joking (for example, the uber-jkaen leaps would be dismissed as jumping to conclusions if he were talking normally, but as is, if people don't agree it can be ignored as joking, and thus ideas started by fazglum can be maintained as if they were our own ideas dismissing his responsibility in it. Ok that sounds really convoluted, but hopefully you get what I'm saying - think ww2 zak.).

Turns out I can quote any post I like. Yes I suck at reading PMs.

Q, why would a town puppet master stay hidden and do antitown actions such as unvoting Azza's vote?

I'm not sure I trust my tone reads so far this game, so I think I'll vote JKaen who's objectively suspicious from last day's voting patterns.

Fake edit: Yeah Gaz, our powers seem few and feeble. Azza could be lying scum though.

So, opening this to the crowd, Novice is confirmed innocent now, isn't he?

I can believe that scum could be crafty enough to fake being neighbours and the whole thing to get some deep cover, but MAttimeo did flip as 'mafia neighbour'. And I don't believe you would both have the 'mafia neighbour' power, that's nonsensical, so Novice has to be town. And I guess the only reason you weren't killed last night is that the scum were paranoid that you might be protected. Lewwyn probably post-cursed you thinking you would die too.

Anyway, although I do love the gavel and mayoral sash, as a gesture of goodwill I am happy to move my mayor vote to you, Novice, if you want it. I'll tell my numbers-men (Qqq and Ryan) to jump ship too. I think Qqq is ready to abandon me anyway frown.

Crap hoping to get here online before Novice.

I don't really see how I can defend the accusations, they are so vague there is nothing really I can fight back against.

The reason I wanted to get on before Novice was I tracked Lewwyn onto him last night. No way I can prove that now though

If you are innocent, I agree you're in a tough situation. My advice is - if you're town, then there are probably 2 other wolves out there. Help us try to build a better case on them.

Why did you follow Lewwyn?

It's not even a quarter. Hell, 3 and a half wolves is much closer to a third.

In Uber's defense, this is misleading. Thestick did not clearly say that; it was embedded in a sequence of role play as part of a joke. The person who lifted it out of that context and promoted it to "information from the mod" was Mattimeo. I still think three wolves make sense, but we shouldn't pretend to have confirmation from the mod about it.

On an off-topic note, the laptop that I got just a couple of weeks ago now had a hard disk crash. It's even a solid state drive, I thought those were supposed to be reliable. That's very annoying, and probably means I'm confined to an iPad for the rest of this game.

Btw, Gazglum, the mayor position is for life. No fat retirement package for you.

I followed Lewwyn as I felt he was trying to set me up as a mislynch. Also I didnt expect him to be nightkilled over Novice and/or Zak but after that he was probably the main person who could do a lot of damage as scum by getting people behind his ideas
