Increased suspicion from players.
Role seer/mysterious other roles (if I'm a pm I'm on the lookout for weird and wacky roles).
I did mainly mean in-thread scrutiny there.

Just to gauge other peoples reactions here.
If after Q claimed (in post #5) we had another miller claim within an hour or two which claim would you more likely believe.
Just trying to work out how risky a scum play a false miller claim is

Seriously, we spent a while puzzling over how the gamemaster would create roles (copy and paste or no?) and I will never be liking those arguments.
Sure it worked this time, but that doesn't mean we should do it.
Mattimeo was suspicious without the village/town argument. The village/town argument was the final nail in the coffin.

Wasn't your vote on novice at some point during day 1? If you didn't think he was lying, why did you vote for him?
Quote:Oh great your looking for roles now :roleseye:
Lets look at this methodicaly, ignoring my scumminess or lack thereof.
Why do you think I am the puppdtmaster?
[I presume] Its because I am confronting the meta assumptions people have on it, and insinuating the possibility that they could be town rather then scum.
Therefore [I preume] you are thus assuming that I am the puppetmaster. But why, as puppetmaster, would I be doing these things? Why as pm would I be wanting these ideas to be brought forward, especially considering I cannot claim puppetmaster, nor survive a day after being caught as pm as I have already claimed miller.
With the knowledge that such a claim would be my doom, I would be lying low on the topic, so as to countermand roleseers.
Also, why would I as pm (without a doubt the most powerful scum role, if what we've seen so far is any indication) claim miller, thus increasing my risk of scrutiny? Why should scam play risky with their best powerrole?
If you are presuming it because the votes match my opinions then ROFL is all I can say.
My impression from your posts after I revealed was that you knew the puppet role existed. You were also the biggest pusher of the puppetmaster potentially being town, but that is pretty much disproven with the lynch results IMO. Puppetmaster is a day role, so trackers/watchers wouldn't be able to disprove your claim, while role seer is typically a scum role itself, so that is unlikely to be able to disprove it either. You would claim miller to dissuade any alignment seers from scanning you.
Of course, you don't necessarily have to be the puppetmaster, because the puppetmaster would've given the important details in the mafia quick topic. Whether you are or aren't the puppetmaster doesn't affect my opinion on your guilt though.
The votes matching your opinions definitely doesn't help your case. It alone isn't damning, but it is another factor against you.
Point being, I think you're scum, and my guess is you're also the puppetmaster.

I'd want to lynch everyone who claimed miller.
But more importantly Jkaen, why did you track Lewwyn over me or Q? You track us, you can potentially disprove our role claims. You'd get nothing out of Lewwyn except for, at best, a role claim. It sounds like cover for visiting Lewwyn last night to kill him.

I would believe the second one.
But it doesn't make that much difference, because either way round Someone Gonna Get a Wackin'.
The reason being that once you have two millers, chances are good that one of them will be lynched that day, and if they flip town then the other claimant would immediately be first on the block for day 2.
So false claiming miller after someone else already has would, at best, likely see you dead on Day 2 after getting the mislynch on Day 1. So I don't see why someone would do it. On the other hand, if you were a miller and Q begins his game by claiming miller, I can see why you would then counterclaim and try to get him lynched.
So, I think claiming miller as scum is a risk, and I think it is townish for Q to have done so immediately.

People have different opinions, you can't just wave away the idea that the central argument to his lynch (or at least the one that seemed to turn the bandwagon) was the meta.
I personally don't believe he was particularly suspicious, and much less so then novices behaviour.

It was clear that the consensus in thread was to lynch a a neighbour, and I felt novice had behaved much worse both in and out of thread.

Turns out it probably wasn't a hardware problem, it was a Windows "Update" problem.

On the other hand, claiming miller eliminates the risk of being caught by a seer. It's also possible (though perhaps not likely) that it was given as a safe role to claim.
This is how Mattimeo reacted to the claim.

Could be a scum bluff, but that's risky as there might be a real miller.
If it's a scum ploy, I think he would perhaps show a bit more skepticism towards his buddy.
If you know what I mean.

Splitting this up because there's no space in my window anymore.
Your impression from my posts, could you be a bit more descriptive please?
Especiallyseeing as that is pretty much all you say there...
I have dealt with the town-puppeteer theory in that selfsame post - why do I need to push for the idea of a stownm if I can gain no benefit from it? Next you talk about roles not needing to scan me - I'm not saying that it is impossible that this is the case, but I question again my you are looking for some complex and elaborate play - you're experienced at scum, and scam don't jump to such plays as gaspar (?) once said, its the villagers who do the complicated plays.
You now concede that I may not be the pm, and am instead beingfed details in the QT.
Fed what important details precisely? Are you saying that I was trying to imply I knew about you, or that I let it slip somehow?
Again, w9here do I reveal this knowledge?
Id also like you to state your feelings on my guilt, as I think that's more important then convoluted ideas about my role.
You're next statement is one of the most ridiculous things I've encountered in werewolf, so I'll just leave it on its own:

Yes my votes matching my opinions is something I'm deeply ashamed of, and you've caught me in the act there
Bed for tonight, sorry.
Still in the spirit of good humour as befits a gazglum "crony"
Duh d'duh, will you take me to,
Duh d'duh, mislynch town?
Duh d'duh, will you take me to,

Just to help me out, is there any chance that both the puppet master and puppet are town? According to what you guys think ?

Didn't even realise it before, but queue my lynch for the use of the word "town"
@Ryan, I think its possible and we should be open minded about it, but general consensus is against it.
