Jkaen's argument for Azza's innocence doesn't make much sense to me, if Azza is scum then scum had to have already given up on Mattimeo at this point. And I agree that Azza didn't really add much more to the argument than Novice already did.

What I really don't like is that Jkaen's first action in the day was to immediately go "I have to claim because there is heat on me", this is a scum reaction imo, and naming a result that had already been claimed by novice is just awfully convenient.

Since jkaen denies that there's a case against him I will summarize it here:

1) Follows novice onto Lewwyn (an indirect way to take heat off Mattimeo) without any real reason. He then claimed the vote to be random which I find unlikely.

2) when Lewwyn isn't picking up any momentum he then attempts to start a move on Azza who just made himself an easy target by selfvoting

3) Finally switches to Mattimeo late, only after it seems that he's going to go down anyway. It's odd that he would have been convinced by Azza and not by Novice given that azza repeated Novice's wording argument. But Jkaen being scum and switching to try and get some town cred because momentum was clearly against Mattimeo at this point would explain it.

I felt azza added the stress in the right point, novices stress was on 'the' which made no sense, azza switched the stress to 'town' which was far more important

1) when I voted it took him to 2 votes early, hardly massive, plus at that time Matt was on 1 vote, hardly under pressure dont you think?

2) The reason he made himself an easy target was that self voting is a stupid non town thing to do, so yes combined with other posts I quoted of course I voted him

3) Yes he was way in advance, but there was 12 hours to go on this swingy way we play that could have changed, if I wanted to as scum I had plenty of time to push another suspect if I wanted to

1) checking it again you're actually right, I thought Matt had 2 votes when you voted lewwyn and he only had one. However I still don't like the random disclaimer because novice was already voting Lewwyn for a stated reason. Thus your saying your vote is random without commenting on anything Novice said reads to me as an attempt to encourage a bandwagon without taking responsibility for it.

2) and then when no one else is biting you just let Azza go and give him credit for swinging you back towards Mattimeo? Reads like you're trying to appease Azza here after the attempt to bandwagon him failed

3) now we're into "I wouldn't do this if I was scum" territory, but since Mattimeo wasn't putting in a lot of effort to try and save himself, it's likely his team wouldn't stick their necks out too far either.



Also, Tasunke: Novice is allowed to vote without stating reasons because he's essentially confirmed town by the meta. You're not.

reason I chose Gazglum as my placeholder vote is because, of the posts I read, (namely Gazglum's post lynch post) Gazglum gave a slight wolf lean ... that being said I haven't read any zak posts of much content. Hence the placeholder nature.

Also, azzas scumdar seems really off this game - he's played scam a lot, and yet he is ascribing really random/stupid actions to the scam team, who generally don't docomplex and crazy plays.
Id also like to hear why he switched off someone "scummy as hell" (me) to Ryan simply because of the role, which implies it has a bigger place in his thinking then he's trying to show - reeks of a scum azza looking for master dead.

Just because when I play scum I try to minimise my risk of dying doesn't mean that other people don't try to make complex or crazy plans.

I actually switched from Jkaen to Ryan. Just because I find you to be very suspicious doesn't mean I'm going to be blindsided by other people who look scummy.

Back to Jkaen because his claim seems too convenient.

I'm just a municipal official my friend, deification has a little way to go. But I always appreciate the support.

Agreeing with others that this is a village tell. I think that Ryan is being genuine here. I think that scum would have wanted to work the 'Who is the Puppeteer?' question for longer, at best securing themselves a mislynch and at the least tying up everybody's time and energy on the question.

I don't want 4 days of looking for a scum puppet master that doesn't exist. I getting mislynches is better than mislynching another town role, which won't end the issue.

This in particular I think is good town point, and I agree. Plus the rest of Ryan's posts have felt villagery to me.

Ryan, I presume at this point you won't change Azza's votes again. At least not without explaining in the thread why you feel it is necessary to do so.

Azza, I can appreciate you wanting FREEDOM, but as long as Ryan doesn't mess with you again then it shouldn't matter.

In fact, now that I believe that you have a town puppeteer, it increases my suspicion of you Azza. We could still have 2 and a half scum, only you might be the scum, and the puppeteering a method of reducing your power somewhat until you can get rid of your master. That would weaken the scum side a little bit, which would match with a slightly higher than normal scum-town ratio of 3:8.

Certainly your hunting so far has seemed more about trying to find the puppetmaster, and less about actual scum tells. And I agree with QQQ that you are throwing a lot of 'gut feeling' and 'impressions' at him without backing them up with quotes. And your call for a miller policy lynch still left a bad taste in my mouth.
