Ok, let's not waste any more time waiting for Jkaen to clarify. Presumably he'll just say that he can't distinguish between being blocked and me going nowhere. It just felt like he was trying for extra credit in case I had a passive role and did nothing.

I'm a traffic cop. I used to be a detective, but got demoted for my practice of publicly executing my suspects. I have an ability called roadblock, which lets me pick two players and prevent them from targeting each other. On night 1, I chose Azza and Novice, figuring that Azza would perform the kill if he was scum. On night 2, I chose Jkaen and Novice, figuring that Jkaen would have no reason to track Novice.

So if anyone blocked Jkaen, it wasn't me. I would only prevent him from tracking Novice.

Well my role doesn't meta-confirm or deny anyone else's claims, so I'd prefer to let the scum worry about exactly what it might be for now.

I'm not a vig, nor did I take any action that would interfere with a Jkaen track. The comment last night about wanting Tasunke shot was mainly out of frustration with his failure to read the thread properly and to try and get a reaction from him.

Zak's claimed role sounds like a weak version of a jailer. Given this his reaction to Tasunke's vote last night is still suspicious. I could understand the "wtf why are you voting for unclaimed people" if he was actually seer or some other powerful role. But as a weak role the reaction doesn't make much sense to me.

Agree with Ryan that Zak hasn't shown much initiative in scumhunting.

so, either Jkaen is scum and lying, or he is town and scum have a blocker. Unsurprisingly the two main people who look like they might be a scum blocker are Gaz and Zak:

I am the village martyr, with the sacrifice ability. Each night I pick a target, and all actions targeting them will hit me instead. That includes kills, and also I guess scry abilities and such.

If I die protecting someone, it won't be told who I protected. So I had to announce it in the thread at the last minute, so if I died you would know that either I was targeted directly (unlikely, given my position in the circle of trust right now) or the person I was bodyguarding was targeted.

I figured that my intent to protect Novice would be enough to scare scum off targeting him, they wouldnt' want to risk getting me instead (and also I guess Novice isn't that useful a kill to them, with his lack of power ability. Incidently Novice, can you still type into your lonely neighbour thread?). I had no idea who they might pick from the villager camp. But I thought if Jkaen was town, then scum might be nervous enough to want to rub him out before he could announce another tracking result, even though he was under suspicion.

Anyway, I have to go to bed now. I'll dance for you tomorrow Zak.
