If I'm scum and blocked Jkaen, why didn't I just claim something else and say I went nowhere? That would clear me nicely, with no trace of the block ever happening.

I thought Gazglum and Jkaen looked like a scum pair last night, but if they're both scum, I'm not sure why Gazglum would claim to protect him. OTOH, I don't really see why not, either. Maybe it was just to emulate what he would do as a townie.

If Jkaen is innocent, and Gazglum is a scum blocker, he would need some kind of alibi for visiting Jkaen, in case Uber or I was a watcher. So then it makes sense to confess up front to being near the "scene of the crime". This also jives with the choice of Tasunke as a safe night kill, who was unlikely to be watched.

Believe it or not, and you won't believe it until tomorrow at this point I'm guesing, I actually had the same thought in bed last night. "Well," I thought there in the darkness. "There goes my chance at this game."

Your logic is impeccable Novice. I would like to counter with observation that, in life, weird things can happen. And in this case they did.

According to TheSTick answer, you have to admit that it is -possible- that Night 1 went like this:

- Really Annoying Wolf roleblocks Gazglum (at random?)
- GAzglum protects Novice, only he doesn't because he's been roleblocked
- Lewwyn gives Novice a bad case of the quotes
- Wolves still don't hit Novice, because they don't know what my power was and think they still might be a doctor out there, so they kill Lewwyn instead.

It is complicated and farfetched. It also has to be true, because I know I am innocent. You do not have the advantage of that information, and so I can see why you might not be on board Team Glum.

I didn't get any 'no effect' or anything from The STick, but I don't know if I would. I just told him I was protecting Novice, and heard no more about it.

I am not a crook. All I wanted to do in this game was die in Novice's arms, his tears of gratitude falling upon me. I am sorry it looks like it will not turn out that way.

I would probably vote for me too today, the evidence against me is circumstantial but strong. However, votes can always be changed.

I would just ask that you consider other possibilities, even if you end up back on me for the vote. After all, if I were scum I would have a buddy. I'm not though, I'm really truly not, so don't put too much effort into assuming my play is buddied with someone else. At least wait until tomorrow for that. In the meantime, there are other scum out there. And they are laughing gentlemen. They are laughing.
