It's time for war!
First though, I'll update you all on what's going on.
I'm also using a new resolution 1680x1050 for Civ4. Let me know if the pics are better or worse.
Old trick of clicking the picture for a full size version still stands.



Two deals:
Spices to Commodore for 50 gold.
OB and Spices to TT for OB and Crab.
Those are mostly so we don't get attacked while we are warring in the east.
Open Borders with TT can also be handy if we don't have max trade routes after we declare on AT.



Our demographics look abysmal. It's the cost we're paying for going this route.
If our war succeeds it'll be worth it. One of these days I have to play a RB game without a war..



On the tech front, no-one has Feudalism yet, which is good. I'm hoping we have another 10 turns.
Also no Engineering, so no pikes.
Maces and crossbowmen are out. Crossbowmen won't help against our phants.



Intel is the key. We found a spy near Horizon. I'm going to guess it was not AT's, because he has not been whipping at all.
I was stupid and didn't create a spy of our own until now. I'm really inexperienced with BTS and it shows.
Next turn he plays he will start whipping though, because he should see the stack now. Unless he forgets to check our city. That'd be funny.



That's what he's got atm. It's nothing. I have a scout near, and his every city is really lightly defended.
We know he can make maces and crossbowmen, I'll keep that in mind.



Our stack. It's missing two phants and one axe on the square next to it.
In total:
14 Ballista Elephants
7 catapults
6 axemen
3 chariots

Always wish I could have even more, but we can't wait forever. I fear we've already waited too long!
We'll find out if he gets Longbows and/or Pikes soon.

1. Even though I was last to play a turn, I didn't play the next one yet. No double-moves, remember!
2. Revolting to Bureaucracy this turn (had a few builds just finishing so didn't want to revolt when we got it).

How is AT's power?

It's around the same as other peaceful nations.
He doesn't have any hidden stacks or anything like that.
A lot of cities to whip though.

I'll check when I play.
I'm making sure I'm the last player in the turn to play, because AT always keeps logging in after ending turn.
This way he has no chance to react between our turn and the turn rolling over.
