I'm ok with that. What about tiebreaking by using turn order - the player who goes last in turn order gets his first pick if there's multiple picks of the same Civ?

Let me add my voice to the chorus of "thanks"!

Responding to the above: yes, I think we did decide in favor of the shade. Banter thread is fine by me.
Breaking ties by reverse play order is also fine by me.

How close are we to being ready? I think we're pretty much decided on our picks, but if we're not in a rush I wouldn't mind holding off to give Mardoc a chance to weigh in after seeing what the start looks like.

I don't think Ichabod said he was finished with the map yet. Nonetheless, let's get our civs chosen before asking about when the map will be finished.

Also, I do think we agreed on a starting Shade as well, as others have mentioned before.
