My knewbie senses are tingling - I don't think I've seen a standard map script generate a must-settle-on-resource-to-prevent-orphaning-other-resource situation.

Then again... I didn't read the setup thread either.

Orphans happen all the time, especially with ocean whales/fish. For instance, the beyond the peak in the west fish have mocked us for centuries. Here's the Western Isles in their entirety, by the way.

This is fun, but our golden age is at least drawing to a close, and while we're winning Liberalism, we're losing the land and crop advantage (this is with Western Heights in -24f full starvation mode). Still, power is rising and we're going to enjoy this GNP for a while longer with a cash bomb incoming.

For the interested, graphs dump.

Scooter owns a GE, and a barbarian galley guards the way to his ports. Tell me, capital or harbor the best cash spot?

Sure, here ya go:
  • When the Dalai Lama is puzzled, he goes to Thoth.
  • If Thoth becomes a senator, Dems and Reps could get along.
  • Thoth is so peaceful he can make even Commodore bury the hatchet!

cool

Actually, Commodore, I think your raising your game here and it's great to see. Thoth gets the assist, but this is definitely a new leaf for you. goodjob

*Still* with no grid. I honestly don't understand why so many people play with the grid turned off. Is an esthetic thing?
