Yep, just remember that it's an artificial barrier. Once you get past that, it's pretty much a free ride until you are in Gold I. Your LKS (Lolking Score, equivalent of the hidden MMR) is the same as mine was when I got promoted, and I've made it all the way to Gold II so far without any problems.

Hehe, thanks. The LKS is actually just about the league points and division, and sadly has nothing to do with the hidden MMR. But a few more wins and I'll be there I think.

Also, riot will rig your promotion matches. (That's what they did to me and I lost both of my promo series T.T)

Yes, out of the millions and millions of people playing League of Legends, Riot specifically went out of their way to rig your promotion matches. Obviously. Elo hell, man.
The negative league points are a well-known display bug supposedly being corrected in the next patch. No one actually loses points for winning, they're simply displayed that way.

I dunno man, those ranked 5s matches were pretty rigged against all of those Diamond people. How else do you get diamond 1 people in every game?
All in all, I don't really like the league system much. It's an OK idea, but not free enough with information. At least with the Elo system, I felt like I understood how everything worked. I understand the need for restricted points based on MMR due to the fact you can't drop once you hit a new tier, but they need to have something that makes it clear what you can expect for point gains or what's needed to remove the restriction. Something that makes sense.

Oh it's definitely a bit frustrating as a system, and I also dislike the lack of transparency to the whole process. Your League Points (LP) and your current division have absolutely nothing to do with who you face in each game, which is determined by the completely hidden and never revealed Matchmaking Rating (MMR). This leads to all sorts of wackiness. Case in point, our ranked 5s team sitting there in Silver I division playing teams full of all Diamond players; we faced teams with Diamond I players (old 2500+ Elo) three straight games in a row. To get out of Silver! Silliness in the extreme on face value, since in truth our ranked team had a hidden MMR that was high Gold or low Platinum. We simply have to play dozens of games until the LP system catches up to where the hidden MMR has already reached, and of course we were getting massive gains in LP with every win to try and solve that disparity.
Overall though, I agree that the whole system needs to have much more information about what's really going on. Riot seems to have this idea that they should hide as much data as possible from everyone, which isn't making anyone happy. It's just causing third party sites like LoL King to become necessary reference tools to play the game. Terrible solution.

I know this sounds like an elo hell rant thread and but I have legitmate proof that the average MMR of you opponents is higher than the average MMR of your teammates. I have taken I a look in my promotion match series. From what it looked like the average MMR is higher on the other team. . There are 3 ways to get past this. Be much better than what your MMR is (which I am not ) play so many promo matches, so at one point you get in due to sheer number of attempt's, or get super lucky and get it down in one or two tries.

If you are duo queuing with someone else, then you are correct. Duo queues incur a matchmaking penalty of roughly 50 Elo according to the old scale. (I don't know how it works out according to the new MMR.)
If you're not duo queuing, then it's all in your head. I hope that you're not seriously arguing that your random solo queue teammates are consistently lower in MMR rating than the other team. That's just another variant of the endless Elo Hell stuff that's been statistically disproven a million times over.
I would stop thinking about how the system is supposedly rigged and instead focus on trying to improve and get better. The only thing that you can control is your own play. Post a replay if you want people here to look at it and make suggestions.
