ok, confession time. my Lewwyn vote was not entirely sincere - it was a gambit to gauge reactions - especially Gaspar's.
Lewwyn's revenge vote is understandable. I get uber's reaction too - although i should point out that I do much more defending of other players as village than I have as scum. If you were someone less capable of defending yourself, I would be doing it even harder.
I was uncertain of Gaspar. he's doesn't have the vitriol I would expect from a falsely accused Gaspar, but there is some snark there, enough to give me doubt. Mostly I wanted to see how sincere his suspicious of uber was, or if he'd bite at the chance to lynch someone else.
He did mention Lewwyn as his #2 suspect, and I think if he could have gotten a fourth he would have gladly switched over and lynched Lewwyn in his sleep. Switching to me after lewwyn makes sense to, I'm generally more lynchable than lewwyn (and certainly more so than uber) anyway. It feels more like he's grasping at lynching anyone but himself, and his suspicion of uber, lewwyn, and me seems insincere. so I feel more comfortable voting gaspar.
pocketbeetle is still my primary suspect, but it doesnt seem like that lynch is possible today. just in case, I'll read the thread at lunch and be able to briefly skim 30-40 mins before deadline.

Joking aside, that post just makes me feel better about lynching Bigger. Feeling a need to justify a survival vote. Mild distancing from me for when I flip village with the "PB is still my top suspect" bit. Buddying back to Lewwyn because he'll need him later.
Yeah, scum.

I loled... And then I cried.

Uh, you have 2 votes on you and I had 3 on me, but PB already stated he'd move to you over me. That's a survival vote.

Whelp... I think staying on Bigger is better. Gives the village options. I'm too tired. Going to bed. I imagine the world will burn as I do.

Yeah, scum.
My thoughts exactly.
In a breathtakingly surprising move, Bigger votes for Gaspar. - But rather than just coming straight out and saying, "well I'm village and I don't want to be lynched", he pushes a reaction gambit justification?
- His contributions so far have been weak, confining himself mainly to asking questions of others' posts, and some of them rather stupid.

- And as for me being his primary suspect, I think most of the village is (rightly) willing to give me a positive lean at the moment, so how he's ending there we still don't know.
While a bunch of people have commented that he's often coming across as fake/overly justified on insignificant points.

I also note that all of the Group A Ryan voters are on Gaspar.
As things stand, if Gaspar flips innocent we have absolutely nothing except the timing of how everyone dogpiled onto Gaspar (Mattimeo, zakalwe, uberfish, Bigger in that order btw).
One last thing you guys really to be thinking about:
If Gaspar is a wolf, then you need to be considering what wolf pairs that brings to the table.
Currently, it would have to be a Gaspar-Lewwyn or a Gaspar-me wolf pair to make sense, otherwise you're assuming that Gaspar's wolf buddy is bussing him.
Is a bussing really necessary at this point?
The wolves are clearly ahead at 5:2 with 2 village ability roles dead. Why bus?
The only situation that makes sense to my mind is if it's an uberfish-Gaspar pair, as uberfish was leading the votes until this Gaspar wagon came along.
Given the above, are none of you inclined to take the safer uberfish lynch?

well, ok. I am at work and just skimmed. I didn't feel threatened, regardless of the actual situation. I still don't. If I get lynched, it won't be the first mislynch I've eaten. I signed up for this knowing I wouldnt have the time to get as emotionally involved as I have in past games.
PB - at least I'm trying to catch scum, which is more than you can say.
