Yeah, we probably are going to need some units to our east. But if they don't come with any kind of strong push then it should only need a few units to deter opportunistic strikes. In the meantime let's keep pushing expansion, and pushing SMack

I would like to just throw the game away and teach them a lesson about the true meta game of civ, but I feel I'd simply be fulfilling their failure. I suppose I'll have to make do with:

Does people building an army not happen here? As far I've seen people prefer to have 2 warriors for 4 cities and they're perfectly content with such defences... Given this is an AW game I'd expect more than warrior garrisons by now x.o
EDIT: Unless everyone is going for this super high risk/reward play which means everyone tries to do the same thing so there's nothing to attack with.

Yeah, it's super-high risk/reward play, we're not beating Seven/Mackoti otherwise. Or, come now let's be honest, we're just not beating Seven and Mackoti. Honestly, H-Team is just playing their little game, ignoring meta considerations. They literally went Stonehenge first; it's not like they're winning after that open in any metagame.

Its not like we don't have units. We were the first to build chariots. We have like 6. We have axes built. The issue is they are all arrayed at Smack who is FAR CLOSER than 4H. We HAVE military. It's on a different border.

They are stupid because they sent chariots across 20 tiles to their Far neighbors who are not anywhere near settling close to them. They are stupid because they don't gain anything from this. In fact, they are stupid because they weaken their bulwark against Smack who are the clear frontrunners.

Why do you fear seven/mackoti team so much? From what I've gathered from your games (be it Pitboss 8 and PBEMs) you are quite good at CiV.
