if we reload, we should probably pause or get in touch with TT - that's a pain, but TT's been playing consistently in the morning and I don't know when he's online - we might end up in a situation where he doesn't have a lot of time to play, squeezing jowy.

I'm relatively flexible atm, I can work around it.
If the lurkers think a reload is needed then fine, but if its more of a misclick than anything else I'd lean towards saying no.

The reload is because of my actions, ans functions like a misclick but only due to a bug id forgotten about.
If we don't reload then it will have a large effect on the remainder of our game. Lurkers haven't responded as yet.

Its a tough one. Its not a bug you didn't know about, just one you forgot about?
That's a bit of a difference because its a mistake rather than being unfortunately hurt by something unknown. Mistakes will always have a significant effect on the game and its hard to reload for them. I know because I forgot about the difference in production resolution between pbem & pitboss in my last PB and ended up leaving my capital undefended which was promptly captured. That was pretty much my game over but there was no reload there. The same could go for Whosit in PB2 who messed up his declaration of war on Spulla with his forgetting the mechanics of open borders and war declaration. If it was being hurt by something unknown, I would say reload instantly. Now I'm not really sure if we should. But not knowing exactly what the problem is means I can't really judge the effect so much. I'll leave it up to the lurkers but that's what I think atm

In my (obviosly biased) opinion i would not call this a misclick. on the other hand, i cannot claim ignorance of the bug because I did see a discussion of it at some point in an old thread. In the interest of simplicity and keeping the game moving let's say we just eat it, and move on, and see if we can salvage this ... See you at the finish line
 Probably a good idea to pause for anyone if the timer runs low since we lost half the time on this turn. |
