I'd like to see you get the copper site near Big Foot before the marble. The copper site will be a pretty good production site. You really only need Marble right before going for any marble wonder(s) and you'd want to build the wonder(s) in a high production site anyway. Yeah, settle the copper site first.

Here's an idea - we don't build libraries in HAKs territory and do in all THHs cities (eventually), then HAK runs high tax and builds markets and THH runs high science. What do you think?
Also if we research iron working next we can make a start on settling the jungle towards RMOG. Are economic techs more important at the moment?
I'm not keen on sending the chariot after the warrior - it's something like ten turns wasted moving to catch up that could have been spent patrolling the LAM border. How about sending some Dogs out into the RMOG jungle as scouts? It'd be good to get some woody promoted mele troops eventually.

so you saying I should be sending gold to THH to keep him running 100% research?
it'll be awhile before markets so what for me in meantime?
I was also thinking iron working and calendar. I'd actually like to get calendar first to get us those two resources already in my borders. then once have IW and that city north of Madhouse would be able to chop those jungle and get even more.
though I have also been thinking about us needing to get our economy better too.

btw is there a reason for THH to do the libraries and research with me providing gold rather than the reverse?
I already have one library and two working Scientists, after all.

Only that he'll have the mega academy-bureaucap in 50-60 turns time and oxford eventually. You could concentrate on producing workers and units in the mean time...
It'll be tricky balancing the money, but should be possible. I think there is quite a bit along these lines in the early Pitbosses, with tech-trading cartels relying on one team to provide the research muscle and feeding them cash. Sorry, I should have remembered earlier!
I'm torn on Calendar/IW vs Currency, I'd guess Currency gets us about 15 gpt extra, while Calendar allows greater growth, so it's hard to compare the two.

If we want to get iron working to chop down the jungle, we are going to need more workers. Also we should prob send a spear and a dog for the scouting party rather than some dogs.
EDIT: We should go for IW first so we can grab more of the land that is covered in jungle. Before the other team can potentially grab it.

No more early wonders please!
Just focus on military, workers and settlers for now.
And then Granaries, LH's etc.

I put the overflow into a settler here as requested:
We can always switch to another build, though.
I whipped here:
What next?
Keep on with the library here?
Note there's a settler in the queue too. We put overflow into it earlier.
This city will actually grow in two once I shift the tiles slightly:
A worker's making it another riverside cottage. Just wanted to confirm the library next here too.
The deep south, as requested by HAK:
I second not settling here yet either.
Graph spree:
What is that?:
Looks like we're keeping up fairly well here:
This is more worrisome:
The arms race continues ...
LAM, which founded Confucianism, has started building courthouses:
I second Nakor's post just above. I'm inclined toward Currency for our next tech: we already planned to use Hereditary Rule for our happiness needs, so we shouldn't need Calendar yet, and Iron Working ... well, okay, if we're going to start settling the jungle imminently. But are we?

Unit in Jumbo and Libs in VR and Courcelette, I think.
Spare the whips if we don't need them yet.
Good to see we're working much more improved tiles!

People are saying that the copper city in the south should be the next city, but according to Old Harry's dot-map that would be one for THH. So that would make my next city still being the one up in my north on the desert hill near the jungle, right?
I was just taking taking a look around and THH, you need to get some of your workers back towards Calcar Ridge and Mouquet. You want to get those Deer improved, and the borders will expand to the Cows by the time you get a worker down there. That road you are making in the north isn't as important right now. Also you need to get a road down to Walcheren Isle to get those trade routes and give it access to the resources.
I'll send you another worker on my turn, putting him on the forest hill next to Courclette for you to chop. You can then continue building the library until the turn the chop would complete, then put the chop into that settler (which would probably finish it), and then go back to finishing the library.
In Calcar, also put a turn into something else (maybe a Chariot) so that the city will grow this turn, and then you can switch back to finishing the Settler.
I put a few things in your build queue's. Take a look and let me know what you think. I like seeing something in the build queue if possible so that we an think ahead with what we'd be building next, rather than you having to ask right when something finishes what to build next.
