I was going to make a post with pictures, but I seem to have forgotten to move them to my dropbox. Anyway, LAM whipped quite a lot of rathauses/corthouses in their lands. Both cities we have vision on from the HRE have rathauses. I think João also whipped CHs because his EP graph is also rising, just like HREs one. It seems our opponents got really hit by the high maintenance costs of the map.
Romes GNP is 210. Rival best is ~90. That's pretty nice! And tehre's a second Academy coming soon + calendar happiness.
Anyway, maybe we should move our EPs to another team. LAM is getting more EPs than us, while fully investing them against us. I don't know the exact formulas, but I think it's likely we'll lose their graphs soon. Well, they are the most interesting graphs to have, so maybe holding to them for a bit more is worth the "soon to be wasted" EPs.
What is the plan for that Inland Sea galley?

We are up. I logged in and catched Commodore playing. They are treatening the new Roman city with a galley and they hace two more axes that can treaten Lemonade next turn (and yet another axe incoming).

Wiped out their first stack of 2 axes, warrior, 3 chariots at the cost of 2 archers and a vulture. Then lost another vulture attacking a chariot at 90%, oh well. Got a general. Galley is annoying, it delays us getting out our own. Rest of turn later.

How did you that?
Are we at risk of losing a city? I'm guessing no. Bah, gotta sleep now. I'll take a look in the morning.

Probably can't update until Sunday, but by all means check out the game.
Odds of city loss still quite low.

Great General will be settled on Ginger Ale? Woodsman 2 vultures could be pretty helpful.

I think it's better to save him than to settle him.
If you know what I mean.

Save him for what? Emergency promotions in case of an attack? If we want a Medic 3 unit, we could promote it now, I think.
I still think 5xp units from our better production city is nice (vassalage and theocracy are still far). Shock Vultures will fare very well against non-shock axes and woodsman 2 units are very powerful for general annoyance. Even Guerilla 2 longbows can be very good.

You need to produce 10 units before "breaking even", though, since he's worth 20 xp.

That's what I usually tell myself too, but I think a better way to think about it is the number of promotions you get. Sprinkling XP on a stack will in practical cases maybe produce 7 promotions. Creating one superunit gives 4 (admittedly awesome) promotions. Each unit built in city with a barracks and a settled GG get one extra, and generally very useful, promotion. And you get the promotion immediately instead of having to wait for a suitable stack to sprinkle XP on.
So I could go either way. (Out of three choices. )
I have to run.
