What exactly is the goal behind sending 1 blue + 1 red? Maintaining the status quo is not possible if they send 2 blues or 2 reds.

Point being: if we send me + red. They send bomber + red. That means red controls the room in which both the president and bomber exist. Game over.

Merovech's Mapmaking Guidelines:
0. Player Requests: The player's requests take precedence, even if they contradict the following guidelines.

1. Balance: The map must be balanced, both in regards to land quality and availability and in regards to special civilization features. A map may be wonderfully unique and surprising, but, if it is unbalanced, the game will suffer and the player's enjoyment will not be as high as it could be.

2. Identity and Enjoyment: The map should be interesting to play at all levels, from city placement and management to the border-created interactions between civilizations, and should include varied terrain. Flavor should enhance the inherent pleasure resulting from the underlying tile arrangements. The map should not be exceedingly lush, but it is better to err on the lush side than on the poor side when placing terrain.

3. Feel (Avoiding Gimmicks): The map should not be overwhelmed or dominated by the mapmaker's flavor. Embellishment of the map through the use of special improvements, barbarian units, and abnormal terrain can enhance the identity and enjoyment of the map, but should take a backseat to the more normal aspects of the map. The game should usually not revolve around the flavor, but merely be accented by it.

4. Realism: Where possible, the terrain of the map should be realistic. Jungles on desert tiles, or even next to desert tiles, should therefore have a very specific reason for existing. Rivers should run downhill or across level ground into bodies of water. Irrigated terrain should have a higher grassland to plains ratio than dry terrain. Mountain chains should cast rain shadows. Islands, mountains, and peninsulas should follow logical plate tectonics.

Though, I guess that's awfully risky/reckless of them and therefore unlikely. Hm.

Wait. Another idea. Send two blues: maybe me + Gazglum.

Assuming they send two blues into here, that sets up a scenario where Control room looks like this:

4 blues (including prez)
4 reds (including bomber)
1 gray (Rowain)

That results in Rowain + blues wanting to get rid of the prez (so prez gets shipped out on a 5-4 vote), AND it means Pindicator here is safe from a bomb coming.

Only way this falls through is if they send the bomber over here, which is possible, but also not super likely. And by "falls through" I mean defaults to 50/50 which is what we're at right now anyways. Blues + Pin, you on board with this?

Scooter are you claiming president (can anyone [red] confirm or deny)?
I get two posts before I have to Accept/Reject full reveal right?
Your plan also falls through if they don't send two blues...

Nope. It just means blues control the room without the need for Rowain support. We send 2 blues, they send blue + read that means control room is:

5 blues (including prez)
3 reds (including bomb)
1 gray - Rowain

That's also game over.

Qes, that's the setup nod

I see your point, that's definitely safer for blue.
My concern is that if we get the 50/50 split it puts me in the same room as the bomb in a red-controlled room. I can't imagine they'd be too happy with me if i allowed that to happen.
Although red isn't exactly giving me any alternatives here so i may have no choice...
