I take it it is a 'The game is frozen' order => no change of send-orders possible and not a the DL is moved back by 24 hours.

That is my interpretation as well - consider this Night 3, no posting allowed.

Okay rooms are up, we should be good to go. Tanks for being patient, and I'm feeling better today, going to go by the Chiro tomorrow just to be sure though.

I hereby propose to shorten the current day to 24 hours.

Of course this first and foremost does need BRick to be fit enough and willing to do it and also it needs the agreement of all other players.

To not influence the game I suggest that players PM BRick if they are in agreement or prefer to let today be 48 hours.

If players want the day to end early, then I will end days whenever the status of both rooms is locked in. Since there are 9 people to a room, if a leader candidate gets a majority of 5 votes locked in on them (Syntax: Lock vote for BRickAstley), and that leader submits to me a list of players to send, then that room will be ready to move to the next round. If both rooms do this, then I will go ahead and advance the game to the next day. If one or both of the rooms doesn't reach that consensus before deadline, then we will just continue to the normal deadline.

this will be fun to play again now that we understand it a bit better. Can I make 2 suggestions?

1) do away with this "private reveal to get around the dealer restriction" nonsense. it cripples the dealer, and the spy really too. making him infect someone to reveal will also give the spy another person to hide behind (instead of just the fugitive), and make things more interesting.

2) instead of 4-3-2-1-1, do 5-4-3-2-1. I think that would make the later rounds more interesting smile.

probably some other things you could do to shake things up(uknown roles??), but those jump out to me.
Please don't go. The drones need you. They look up to you.

I do think there's a metagame flaw in that information sharing is strongly recommended - should we be terribly surprised that everyone's color was essentially known by Day 2?

Since Blue and Red are pretty evenly matched, I don't see a reason why the metagame would get much pressure to change (unlike Werewolf, where imbalances in win rates encourage metagame shifts).

Also: Swapping 4/9 == swapping 5/9. Instead of sending 4 people out, you keep 4 people in: perfectly symmetrical.

I disagree that information sharing being recommended is a flaw. The game being about WIFOM of who will be sent seems much more interesting to me than randomly losing 'cause you had no idea who the bomber on your own team was, let alone who the president he was supposed to share a room with was.

I could get behind 4-4-3-2-1. Or even 4-3-2-1 for a shorter game, to be honest.

and Bigger, how were you planning on having the private reveals transmit foolishness?
If it's the dealer doing the revealing, just wait until you know who is actually on the other team, and force them all foolish against their will by privately revealing to them.
If it's the player revealing to the dealer, how on earth are they supposed to know they're now foolish?
