{THE BARRACKS} 2R1B

If we'd sent a red yesterday, would have been the greys making majority of their respective rooms, with both wanting either themselves or their nemesis gone. I don't know you can spin the chance Rowain was intending exactly that into "Rowain hates me and everything I ever do"...

vote uberfish for coin flipping goodness. Up to you whether you flip between yourself/pindicator (ie. he wins) or yourself/NOTpindicator (ie. he loses).

Ok since day 3 appears to be my team's fault I'll just roll dice to see whether Pind or myself gets kicked tonight.

Too bad we can't watch rowain's efforts trying to convince the blue team why they shouldn't just make him lose the game now in the other room.

Thanks Uber. I hope you win the coin flip

Merovech's Mapmaking Guidelines:
0. Player Requests: The player's requests take precedence, even if they contradict the following guidelines.

1. Balance: The map must be balanced, both in regards to land quality and availability and in regards to special civilization features. A map may be wonderfully unique and surprising, but, if it is unbalanced, the game will suffer and the player's enjoyment will not be as high as it could be.

2. Identity and Enjoyment: The map should be interesting to play at all levels, from city placement and management to the border-created interactions between civilizations, and should include varied terrain. Flavor should enhance the inherent pleasure resulting from the underlying tile arrangements. The map should not be exceedingly lush, but it is better to err on the lush side than on the poor side when placing terrain.

3. Feel (Avoiding Gimmicks): The map should not be overwhelmed or dominated by the mapmaker's flavor. Embellishment of the map through the use of special improvements, barbarian units, and abnormal terrain can enhance the identity and enjoyment of the map, but should take a backseat to the more normal aspects of the map. The game should usually not revolve around the flavor, but merely be accented by it.

4. Realism: Where possible, the terrain of the map should be realistic. Jungles on desert tiles, or even next to desert tiles, should therefore have a very specific reason for existing. Rivers should run downhill or across level ground into bodies of water. Irrigated terrain should have a higher grassland to plains ratio than dry terrain. Mountain chains should cast rain shadows. Islands, mountains, and peninsulas should follow logical plate tectonics.

Err I think I'm being portrayed badly here.
Firstly the post restriction was a fun idea for when it became clear that we had no control over the room to relieve the boredom, and also because I feel like I take these games too seriously (the whole lynch of gazglum in '22). I didn't really intend to continue it day 3, but then the first 24 hours was pin+blue telling us how they were BFFs and that everything was figured out without us having a chance. Maybe that was wrong but that's what it seemed like at the time.
Oh and I submitted the day 3 orders really early, I just did it by PM and didn't post it for ages.
Really sorry for swapping the order pin, I really haven't had time to have a grip on the game, and had no idea that I was betraying you (more importantly, I didn't realise it was 4,3,2,1,1 - I thought it was 4,3,2,1).

Given I'm actually awake at this time, I figured I'd wish uberfish a last minute 'good luck' with the result of the die roll.
