"Vikings" is a better name then. Having Norwegian Ski Infantry and (Viking) Berserkers as UUs for Denmark doesn't seem right to me though.

Everyone wants their home country in the game. Even I have to admit that I'd love seeing Finland in the game. It won't happen in Civ5 though, because they gave our unique unit to Sweden.

Well we do get Finnish city names at least by playing the Swedes (very comforting wink). Like usual, they haven't really bothered with historical accurance at all though.

You could argue that New Zealand are represented with the Maori Warriors as a Polynesian UU.

Sweden was a pretty formidable early modern era power. In fact it was only really the shock upset of Peter the great that stopped them from achieving hegemony over the Baltic. Really, I would say the main reason they haven't been in previous civ games is that they're easily(if messily) folded into a Viking or Scandinavian civ.
