Showdown time!
Btw the picture isn't final.. I realized something. I can kill off his separated knights with my War Elephants!
I sent two out with 77% odds, both won. Sure they can be killed now, but I'll take a War Elephant for Knight trade any day.
And killing the WE's will make one unit out of position, and he could take some damage as well.
I have to wonder if he'll even attack Eden Prime. My defense isn't too shabby.
If I was him I'd go for a fork, but then again I lost a war doing that, so maybe he should just agree to peace and not pull a Jowy
Notice that one of the galleys has 5 movement points. It could attack Citadel next turn, but the other can't. Yes, I left Noveria to die. It's not much use to me, would get max one more unit out of it. I'd rather be 100% sure that Citadel lives than risk it by splitting my forces. If I didn't have vision on the galley this would have been an amazing move. Props to AT you sneaky bastard!
Speaking of sneaky, on my way out of TT's lands I did spot some of his units. Half a dozen musketeers, few maces, and the catapults that got away. It'd be enough to take out my western cities, but is TT going to risk invading with a small stack again after what happened last time? Well, I suppose you could go read his spoiler thread and find out, but for me it will be a surprise!

I attacked with three units all at around 70% odds to win, and all three died.
At least I killed a longbow with my outdated axeman at the end.
Noveria was razed as expected, but not by a knight... by a longbow.
AT offered white peace, and I declined. I will accept peace for the three techs, but no less.
It makes no sense for AT to not accept that proposal. Giving me techs doesn't cost him a thing, but fighting a war without gains does.
Cornflakes eliminated Azza a few turns ago. He might continue on the war path and attack AT while AT is busy fighting a war against me. If and when that happens, his peace offer to me better be quadrupled

Probably isn't news for you global lurkers, but 2M made peace with Brick & Commodore, and immediately declared war on TT.
2M is our new neighbor to the west, and perhaps soon to the north as well.
At least I know TT won't be attacking me again, so that simplifies things.
Then again 2M has a huge stack just west of us, so let's hope he doesn't have vision on our cities or he could just take em.

AT brought 5 knights. Sadly I had no more WE's to kill any off. He will attack the turn after the next one.
If the catapults do enough collateral damage he will win.
I'll have my own iron connected in 3T, but AT might break through before I can get any pikes.
Game mechanic question, would whipping a Castle restore my city defenses that have been bombarded to 0%?

The castle is a multiplier - so if your defence is 0% it gives you 0 * 1.5 = 0
You can see what your defence % is in the city screen just to the right of the city name.

My losses:
3 Maces
4 Longbows
His losses:
9 Catapults
1 Knight
3 Maces
He attacked this turn. I think he'll win with the help of his three new Knights, but we'll see.
At least I didn't lose the city on the first strike.

did you have any catapults leftover to hit his stack for some collateral?

Nope, I only had one which I threw at him earlier. My long-term plan was to get more and attack him when he's by Eden Prime. That's why I spent a few units to clear that forest there.
Eden Prime will likely fall next turn because due to the turn splits I won't get to promote my defenders between his two attacks, which means they'll be much weaker.

Plako's auto-promote idea worked. It's still not looking great though. But I'll settle for taking out as many units as I can
2M made peace with TT, another weird 1 turn war. Looking forward to reading the spoiler threads on what's all that about.

Hurray! AT's stack is retreating again, but he has not accepted peace yet. More knights next time?
I have my spy on his lands now so I'll know what kind of forces he's massing for the next strike.
Iron is also connected so I will have pikes.
However.. as one battle ends, the next one begins! I didn't expect to have so much fun losing
A smart move from Brick and Commodore, but it might be too late.
Their stack is small, and I have defenses since I didn't move the latest units to Eden Prime.
I will have 4 longbows, and there are 2 longbows and 1 mace also on the way.
Unless he brings in more troops, he shouldn't be able to take the city.
He asked for peace right away in exchange for Virmire, so I know the war is just an attempt to grab a free city.
I've offered them white peace in return since I believe I can hold it, so they won't have anything to gain by continuing the war.
One more thing. The war declaration broke my 30 GPT deal to them :D
