I would bet neither azza nor brick are scum and scum have split on each to get one gone today. Nothing like giving people a "choice" between two bad candidates /two-party rant

Someone should do a mathematical analysis about how inactive players influence with the balance of the game - and which town reactions are best for dealing with it.

I make it about 75% chance the town has at least a 1-shot vigilante. So I intuitively that not lynching an inactive and then using a vig-kill first night might be the best.

If I myself found myself in a situation where I signed up, but something happened RL which meant I would have no time at all to play properly, I think it would be best for town to simply not vote and get modkilled, and clearly state that I was going to do this. The town should let me do this without lynching, because if I throw in a late day 2 vote then I am obvious scum. This has same effect on balance/nightkills/lynches as vigi-kill but saves a shot.

In my recollection, there has been quite a few games lately where half-lurkers have gotten lynched, I think this really tilts balance towards wolves - of the two options, lynching lurking townie and letting lurker scum win I think most people has a tedency towards denying lurkers the win - they didn't deserve it.

Bottom line, don't sign up if you can't play properly. With these MP civ games I've been getting into, I've wisely stayed out of last couple of games.

Peace.

I personally believe that Tasunke will show up, as he always does.
If not however, would it be appropriate to replace him at end of night 1 (with any initial night actions being waived)?
And if so, does anyone desire that position?

I think you have to replace him before the deadline. Once a once-live player gets in here, there's no way to remain 100% unspoiled, little dribs and drabs of spoilage always seep through.

I also would replace him right now were I you, mostly because I advocate being more ruthless about players signing up for games and not playing in all formats. I mean it happens to everyone now and again, but if for example, you're finding you don't have time to play your pitboss turns, its probably a decent indicator you don't have time to play WW either.
