WW24: The Ashes of Brigdarrow: VILLAGE WINS

Don't blame Jesus, he died almost two thousand years ago. smile

I know this does nothing to clear Rowain, Azza, or me, but at least you now know we aren't serial killers. smile I think this was a good result, since the SK is harder to catch. Maybe there was a successful protection last night, but I think Serdoa may also have been planning to no kill his way to victory. I think that's how I would play it, at least.

I know that you try to forget WW17 as much as you can. But Serdoa did his 'scumhunting' there too. As said looking who is left or not made me think about Serdoa and his scum-play then. Not to mention that there was another (very small) hint increasing Serdoas scumchances.

What I find really interesting is that instead of you being happy that we are down to only 1 scum-party (guarantied only 1 NK) you are sounding unhappy.

It is also nice to see you 'I would have posted blabla' again. Given that you have used the trick of claiming "being offline/unable to post" as scum before I'm sure you understand my distrust of this stories

I also think Rowain is possible scum partner. Now I was thinking this based on Zak's switch over to Brick and Rowain not really calling him on it. Then the final moves went down. I started to doubt it a bit. Zak actually sounded like he didn't know what was coming. But then the SK was lynched. Now it makes more sense. They were trying to whittle down villagers and SKs and so, yeah, Zak didn't know what was coming.

It was obvious that Serdoa was scumhunting. I thought he was villager because of it, but SK makes sense now too. Unless you are scum I don't know why you go after Serdoa in that final scenario.

That doesn't make a lot of sense, Lewwyn. As mafia I would be equally in the dark about whether or not there was a SK.

Oh and yeah, I bet Serdoa is pissed. :D

Why did I go for Serdoa? First of all, I know he can play a tight scum game, and his play was consistent with that. Yes, he scumhunted, but he was slightly more passive than usual, especially towards me. So maybe a bit more afraid to catch heat than usual. I don't believe I have ever called him innocent so far, despite being pretty lavish with my town reads in general. I've been quietly uneasy about people pegging him as innocent for some time.* Second, the other candidates didn't reek scum, and I felt like the tally was too easily manipulated. You could see the developments coming a mile away. So a quick bum rush on a surprise candidate felt like it had a high chance to pay off.

*In fact, this may be a good lead to hunt for mafia: go through the people who listed Serdoa as innocent and see who may have been a little quick to do so. Of course, you are on that list, Lewwyn, but I'm not saying this to frame you, as I don't think you are scum.

BTW given what we know so far our possible scum-setups are (listing only those that had a SK and at least 1 Village PR)

TTTTT = Goon + Godfather
TTT = 2 Goons + Roleblocker
T = Goon + Roleblocker + Godfather

with 2,4 or 6 village PRs

Given the night-kill that we lost was one that could target scum, I'd say that scum would be celebrating the death of a SK more than town.

In meta terms, as well, Serdoa's death gives more info to scum than to the rest of us. We only know it's T, TTT, or TTTTT; they know exactly which (and subsequently, a significantly more accurate estimate of how many other roles have the potential to be out there)

Given that a SK helps scum to kill villagers to reach Lylo faster I doubt they will celebrate too much. But honestly I don't care if scum celebrate or not but I do think we have all reason to be happy. Look at the setup. 2 scumparties meaning 2 nightkills and Tasunke as villager is as much handicap as we could have gotten. So far we had 1 unavoidable mislynch only 1 NK and with killing the SK it is now assured that there won't be 2 scum-originated nightkills anymore. IMO our chances have improved quite well and I see little reason to be sulky about it.

And the info -part. Scum had better knowledge of the setup right from the start so nothing really changed.

lol Now I understand why Lewwyn is so pissed about being killed when unavailable. You are all morons but I love you still :P

Its fine if you don't believe it, but it just happened that I had a freak window of about 40 minutes right at 4 where I was scrambling with work.

I don't see my my tone as unhappy. At that time I was shocked that there was that swing, and my first reaction was try to understand how it happened.

I have been pretty unhappy this game because Tasunke screwed us a bit and Brick finally looked villagery really to me, and I hate being wrong about that. However Brick's posting reminds me so much of the Brick during that game where I vigged half the village, which included Brick on Night 1 after he did something similar to the last two days.

Personally I think Brick is leaning pretty strongly village at this point. rant

I think we kill Zak tomorrow. His explanation for voting Serdoa is bad. Maybe they targeted Serdoa last night? It's a possibility, since I'd say the SK would have some kind of night kill protection (fits with the setup?).

Either way, voting Zak tomorrow.

Though I can see no reason why Zak would night kill Novice. lol
