Logged in to grab a shot of the advisor that allows us do deduce the opponents techs ... The results shocked me! Commodore and AT are significantly behind in tech. How did this happen? They are the most veteran players in this game.
Here is our current tech ... NOTE: this is from last turn. We actually have Chemistry now.

I forgot one important option for our GGeneral ... Super Medic
I've never actually used a Super Medic, but I hear them mentioned rather frequently. Is this something we might want?

Never played with super medic, apparently very good.

Oh, the nervous impatience ... It may well be that the next 5 turns decide our fate in this game. Not that I think we can be completely knocked out in 5 turns, but AT piling on would probably mean the lost of Blimp, Paradigm, Postos Village, and Paris. Maybe Sheep/Mars if we have to redirect significant forces to the south. If we last 5 turn I think we'll be able to get peace with 2metra. 10 turns of guaranteed peace with 2metra would allow us to secure our southern border until Cannon come online.
I think super medic it the way to go here. When facing a dogpile the super medic will allow our forces to immediately heal and face the next wave of invaders. We currently have a 6XP impi in Paris that's promoted to C1 -> Medic_1 ... we need 17XP for Medic_3, so we need 11 more. If we divide the GG between 2 units it'll only give 10 xp to each, which isn't enough. If we give all 20 xp to that impi it'll be at 26xp, which is exactly enough for an additional promo: Morale for a 3-move impi super medic.

I just checked the status after Commodore played. I don't know if we're going to be able to hold this front without bringing the knights down ... I confirmed that Commodore is rival best in power. According to civstats he drafted once this turn, and rival best rose by 8k (+9k from musket - 1k from lost pop). I also confirmed that AT is out of the GA. I'm pretty sure he's still the Rival Best here with that scary 600+.
Against this force we'll have about 6 muskets, 4 maces, 2 HA, and 2 impi. Alone this stack does not worry me, but if joined by a stack of knights ... I'm not so confident.
And look at that stack of musket + 5 Cats. That looks suspiciously like a trap.

Bigger has just logged in, so I'll be able to play the turn in a few minutes. It's almost midnight here but I'd rather just knock it out now rather than getting up early tomorrow.
I'm going to hit 2metra's stack this turn. Waiting would allow us to bring an additional 2 maces and 1 cat into combat. Attacking now allows our knights to get down to the Commodore front a turn sooner, and we need that. I'm going to save at least half or our 8 knights for last and maybe move them down to the Commodore front immediately if 2metra's stack is sufficiently neutered by our Maces/Muskets.

Bigger has been logged in for over an hour (is still logged in), but the game has been paused for at least 45 minutes. I'm going to bed now. If the turn rolls you can log in, but please don't touch anything except the Trade Mission detachment. Move the spy SW to the hill to make sure the path to AT's capital is clear of enemy units. Then move the GM in and run the TM. Then move both impi back to Blimp and the Mace back into SWAT. After this the spy should head back Northeast. We have OB with AT so we can scout his land with HA's still. Spy will eventually make his way along the road network to Postos and down into Commodore's land.
I'll go through all Core cities and check micro (I'm referring to core as anything East of Apocalypse, inclusive, and south of the long narrow sea. The other cities up in Azzaland I may glance at but not spend too much time over. Those are basically in GROW GROW GROW mode.

Nevermind. I checked civstats one more time before hitting the sack and he's whipping/drafting so I'll just wait it out. I either loose the sleep right now or in the morning so it doesn't make much difference

According to Civstats, French Musketeers are going after someone. Assuming he honors the Gold + Ivory for war vs 2metra which he already accepted and doesn't backstab us I think 2metra is in for some hurt on the back side. His power is basically all in our land or in the cities to our north.

Turn has rolled. It took a bit longer than I was expecting, but since I'm up already and am tight on time in the morning I'll still play now. Spread out your blanket and grab your favorite drink ... The fireworks are about to begin!
[apparently we do not have a fireworks smiley, and I'm too lazy to hunt up a GIF]
