If you were scum and HADN'T targeted Novice, you'd know there was a serial killer. It's not like you to not think through all the options Zak.

Ok, that's possible. So for the sake of argument let's just say that the mafia knew there was an SK. That's not really the main point, anyway. The point is, how does my behavior suggest that I'm mafia hunting for the SK? How do you distinguish between that and me being town hunting for scum? That's the part that isn't logical. (And the part that you cut out.)

To put it another way, I would apparently be less suspicious in the eyes of my accusers if Serdoa had flipped innocent. That's a paradox. Why should it be considered more suspicious to vote for a SK than to vote for a townie? A SK gives off real scum vibes. A townie does not.

I think the much more important question is why are you spending all of this time trying to prove that this doesn't make you scum. Why are you so focused on the wording and the nitpicking? Why are you trying to dissect these arguments down to the very core during the night? I think its very suspicious.

If Serdoa had flipped innocent I said I wouldn't have suspected you "as much" that doesn't mean I would not have suspected you. That doesn't mean I wouldn't have voted for you. I stated on Day 2 that I'd be willing to vote for everyone who voted for Tasunke except Serdoa (which is highly ironic I'm aware) and Zak you are on that list. Why are you trying to spilt hairs about how much I suspect when its simply obvious I do?

The point is I feel like you are doing a dance you are wriggling and trying to get off the hook and its not even daytime yet. You shouldn't know if you are being nightkilled or not, but you're acting like its a foregone conclusion that you won't be. Scum.

I also think it was way too big of a gamble for the two of you to take with no real evidence, hence very tempted to vote there tomorrow

Lewwyn, if you want to drop the discussion about Serdoa and move on to talking about me being defensive, that's fine with me.

I'll have a hard time defending against that without coming off as defensive, but I will argue that being defensive isn't a scum tell coming from me, anyway. I'm not blind, and I can see where things are heading. With Ichabod promising to vote for me tomorrow, you more or less doing the same, and Mattimeo happily buying the "he was mafia hunting SK" premise, it is only prudent to try to address that ASAP. Particularly since I see the surge of suspicion against me after Serdoa flipped as SK as an irrational (though somewhat understandable) reaction that can be refuted logically.

If I were scum, I could save my defense for the next day, which would give me something to do. I would sorely need something to talk about, anyway, to meet my verbose baseline, and being on the defense makes it easier to just piggyback on another lynch rather than having to make my own cases from scratch. Plus, you know, I could just kill you and THEN refute your arguments, eliminating the risk of any pesky retorts.
If you know what I mean.

Cross-posted... you're more than an hour early with the night resolution.

This made a huge blip on my scumdar. After turning the other cheek all through day 1 and 2, the doubts are now conveniently starting to "creep in" when I'm starting to actually catch heat.

I didn't say I thought you were scum. just that it was an out of character error. I actually still think you're town. But I'm wondering if you might have any night action results you want to share with us later today?
