So we could see longbows as early as T153/154 - fun times.

Loyal lieutenant needed
With all the stuff happening and the amount of data I try to keep track of this every turn now, I'm starting to be overwhelmed here. Ie, I'd like an assistant. No mod is required - all that is needed is an account on the APTmod site. Main duty would be to do the production tracking - pull the numbers from the espionage screen in the mod for each team and city, enter them in the C&D sheet, and move the result to the foreign production history. That way I can concentrate on the in-game data and the analysis (which already is more than enough). I'm available on AIM and Jabber (gchat) to help out in the beginning.

Well, the deception is definitely up, but it was good as long as it lasted.
The German team performed no less than four build switches this turn, and three whips.
The most important clue that they're in high military mode is the the switch in Wittenberge - switching out from a building with 96H invested is a major change.

And CFC continues to whip heavily, the city of Hansa was 2-pop whipped this turn again. It built up to 21H into something (probably a horse archer) to T143, then switched to another build which it whipped from 7 to 89H on T146, and now they whipped the horse-archer-cum-knight from 21H to 96H.
They really will need Notre Dame if they are to manage their whip anger...

And now CFC drafted too, in the city of Raj (6->5).
Ie, I'm fairly sure CFC are planning for a short victorious war against the Spanish team, based on overwhelming them with a slew of knight. But I'm not sure they have the raw numbers to sustain the offensive if the Spanish can blunt their knight stack.

T148 C&D notes
This concerns what happened as the turn rolled, later on I will go onto CivPlayers whipfest. WPC grew their city of Sunrise to size 8 (75 total pop). I think they finished a catapult in Arctica (whipped), but many of their cities has been sitting on 0 hammers invested for quite some time now. Not sure what's up with that - high production and overflow-finishing units? Not really sure. The Spanish team didn't have any score change, but they pulled in 80g (87 to 180) as the turn rolled and they had a GNP increase shown on APTmod, so we'll have to see how quickly they can get to HBR. Apolyton finished a bank in Aurora, which they 3-pop whipped last turn. They grew at least three cities (Apolyton, Aurora, and Bursa). They they 3-pop whipped Istanbul to 132H from 20H. Since the city has a forge I think it's a settler whip. The German team gained 2 pop and 17 score, and I think I'm fairly sure they researched Monarchy. Next up Feudalism, for sure, and they still have 352g (down 212 from last turn, when they had 563), so they have nearly two more full turns of research. They have also quit sending stone to Apolyton, so they can get cheap walls. CivFr built a library in Sidi Brahim and gained 8 score, probably all pop. CivPlayers built a buddhist monastery in Costalot - they seem quite intent on that gems tile outside Wolfratshausen. They grew one visible pop, and had a score increase of 8. CFC "only" gained 8 score from 3 pop, 108 total, so their whip and draft recovery doesn't seem to go that fast. OTOH, they did grow 6 pop last turn (only to whip and draft away 5 of them), so we'll have to see how quickly they can recover from all their knight whips. Lakshmi finished a market, and I think they completed 2 more knights this turn, in Hansa and Abhi. Univers researched Machinery and grew 5 visible pop. They should have 127 pop over 18 cities. They also finished a market in Petibonum. Note also that I've marked locations on the map for my guesstimates for cities we don't have visibility on, for the Spanish and Univers.

Monarchy confirmed for the German team - they have a wines connected.

Then I can concentrate on getting the list of buildings accurate. The hammer tracking should be complete for all the whips done so far.
