Not much is new this turn, just reporting for stat purposes. Continued previous builds (chariot, worker), moved the warrior into Happy Face (can cover the capital just as quickly from here). Took pics, prevented a player from entering the game (not sure who, but good to know as an FYI type thing. I can't do anything with my firewall settings. Best guess is suttree, as he is next to log in.), hit enter.

So Xenu and I ran through a couple of ideas and muddled our way to a new plan until we can figure out where the bronze is, and thus where to settle our next city. 3T to BW. In the meantime, stats!
T43
This turn, I threw in an extra couple of minutes trying to figure out the map some, since Stonehenge gave us the full map.
To northern edge: 27 - 3 = 24
To southern edge: 39 (+1 for current tile)
E/W wrap: 51 each way (+1 for current tile) = 103
N/S = 64
103 x 64 = 6592
Someone double check me, math isn't my strong suit, but that is a lot of tiles. Continents map, probably lots of water, but still. That's a lot of land to settle, so we need to get our share and then some and just spam cottages everywhere. Or find stone and chain irrigate our way into a specialist economy built on another pile of rocks.
Chariot is out, ready to scout. Stat time:

I was in game as the turn rolled, eagerly awaiting discovery of our Bronze resource. And, here it is...
...not. And, our neighbor to the south:
Confirmed our previous thoughts on Sisu's bronze location. But, we did find this with our scout:
Don't kill our scout, please.

Bonus: we have new graphs!

Yeah I just had what I have to do this weekend doubled, so I won't be able to reliably take a turn a day. Yay graduation weekends! I guess at this point ask for a general sub?

Done.
I'm leaving home Thursday morning and won't be back until late Monday night. Xenu, when are you leaving/unable to play? Same for you, Brick. I need to know how much micro plan to put together, then multiply it for the torrid turn pace.

Goddamned barbs. At least we survived this one. 9t to heal? I debated moving either the 1t to get back in borders or 2t to get inside a city, but decided to just heal in place a couple turns and see if we can't scare up some weakling barb animal to attack and get a combat promo instead. No way I'm sitting there 9t though. Fucking barbs. Ok, I'm done complaining (for now).
Another chariot, then consecutive work boats. I'm not crazy about working unimproved forests either, but I'm not wild about whipping for the sake of whipping. We'll have loads of food here shortly, and the idea was to, you know, scout out a location for city #3. Keep in mind we still lack Agriculture, so the spot to the south with the (dry) rice isn't going to be wildly successful without that tech. So, for the moment, grow up and keep saving potential as long as it is profitable. I don't mind the chariot build anyway, the way our luck is running. We'll probably need it. And, we haven't revolted yet, we'll do that in 3t between work boat chops to let the workers catch up to the city's production needs.

I think we're better off moving the chariot back into town to heal. I think that would be faster, but I don't remember the exact formulas for healing in neutral territory vs. inside culture vs. inside a city square. At a minimum the chariot is less likely to die inside our culture. We could have truly terrible luck and die on the interturn to a random panther attack from two tiles. That's more likely than what befell our scout before, and he didn't live to tell the tale either.
Only Azza left to play -- I'm going to need convincing pretty quickly to not move the chariot back inside our borders.

Done. Probably safer this way anyway.

T46 - Workers chopped a forest into Mr. Love, it's all overflow into a work boat for next turn. The chariot was already going to complete this turn from natural production. Twenty hammers from the chop + 10 natural production next turn gives us a 1 turn work boat on the turn we land Fishing. Next up: another work boat, with a revolt to slavery mixed in somewhere whenever the workers need to buy a turn to get ahead. Which would be any time now since we're working two grass forests, unfortunately.
Demos:
Suttree is running a pretty good crop yield, I'm guessing he has some tasty resources around his two cities. They are sizes 5 and 3, so he's running two population ahead of our second city. I wonder if he has two workers? He must I guess, to have improved enough tiles to generate 29 food over 8 worked tiles. Or maybe he spawned in the middle of a giant flood plain?
We're third in GNP, but we're actually a lot lower than that considering how much of our output is made of culture. That will improve as we begin working the seafood tiles soon, and then eventually when we get around to laying down cottages.
Our shamefully mauled chariot is inside Happy Face healing up, that's only going to take...six turns. Fortunately we'll have another chariot to send out to die explore next turn. Maybe he'll stay healthy long enough to actually provide some useful map information and hopefully tell us where we'll be settling our third city soon.

I'm around for a bit before I crash hard. ~700 miles today. I feel like I'm still driving and strung out on some illicit substance, but if you can't remember something with the workers, call me.
