FWIW your grocer calculations are wrong, since the 65gpt shown includes the market bonus. At any rate, I'd prefer to put the overflow from the knight whip into another knight.

Agree.

I disagree, I'd like our core commerce cities like gourmet menu to stick to commerce buildings. If not a university then a grocer and allow our production cities to continue the knight production line.

We need to get back to a good GNP.

This is probably the only city that I'd rather continue with economic buildings during the war. It's commerce potential is very good and its hammer output is miserably bad. Slow and steady infrastructure push here, with drafts to augment the war effort. I disagree on universities just yet, though. That is too many hammers invested (empire-wide, particularly) right now. AO has good enough production to build what it needs after the war and is the only other commerce city I'd be as concerned about, but it's doing just fine supporting the larger war effort. Let's save the Oxford build up until after this war (and likely the next, at T175).

We currently have 3 knights, and we are due to whip out 6 more in the next few turns. Then HF is producing two knights every three turns, and BbB a knight every three or four turns or so, and those come with 5 XP instead of 0 or 3. So in 10t we will have 18, if I count right.

I'm not sure how much use another un-promoted knight will be in 10t (if we whip that one as well). I think I'd rather put the whip overflow into something of more long-term use - ie either a grocer or a university. If we want another knight from GM we can whip the city again then.
Furthermore, I consider that forum views should be fluid in width

Disagree with more economic buildings. Don't screw up this war from undercommitment, if you want a short decisive war, you need to be decisive and commit.

More knights for the knight throne.

I vote grocer over knight in that particular city.

Agreed - but I'm less likely to support it in others, especially if we're running into issues T152/T153 or so in the war.

Even if we overbuild units, it would help to pad out the power rating if the westerners get uppity.
