No offense, but I don't remember any concessions in that game. You guys were in a great position, but I didn't think it was game over yet. In fact, you could make an argument that the only team that was ready to continue and still playing their turns in a timely fashion was the de facto winner, but whatever. I put it down as another failed experiment.
On topic: that list of banned leaders might be too restrictive for a vanilla FFH game. Five civs are eliminated completely (Balseraphs, Grigori, Malakim, Sidar, Kurios). Both vanilla and EitB have some balance problems, but EitB does have the minor leaders to open up some of those civs.

Ah, I wasn't paying too much attention toward the end of the pitboss. Sorry for the presumption.

Fair enough, sorry if I overreacted.
The more I'm thinking about it, the more I like the Loser Leader idea. EitB minor leaders only put the Sidar and Balseraphs back into play, so that's not as big a deal as I thought at first.

Only if you outlaw Decius of the Malakim because Decius of the Calabim won a game.

I like the "losers" plan too.
To save everyone the trouble, here's the list of leaders which would be allowed (assuming EitB):
Furia the Mad
Sabathiel
Decius (of Bannor or Malakim?)
Alexis
Flauros (no need to ban him if EitB)
Mahala
Thessalonica
Einion Logos
Ethne the Whie
Arturus Thorne
Thessa
Garrim Gyr
Shekinah
Rivanna the Wraith Lord
Faeryl Viconia
Rhoanna
Tasunke
Valledia the Even
Dain the Caswallan
Os Gabella
Tebryn
Averax
Auric Ulvin (are we banning stasis?)
Twenty-three choices in all. I think some of these are much stronger than others, so if we're going to go this route we should further clarify if the intent is to showcase the "worst" leaders, or just to try to make strong picks within this constraint.

Personally, I've already played in one restricted leaders game. All the picks I rather fancied are gone. I'm happy to drop if you guys have your heart on it.
Also, I vote diplomacy off. I won't be conducting any regardless so would prefer not to be handicapped.

I'm also intrested. No diplo or AI diplo only. I'm ok with choosing from the "losers".

AI diplo=offer trades in game, no other contact. Personally I'd prefer some interaction (just to keep it more interesting for me), but it is far from being a game-breaker. I've no problems with any of the listed "loser" civs.

Since my preferences seem to run different to the majority and you have 5 others, I'll give this one a pass and see if there's any interest for another perhaps after I return from holiday. That said, I'm happy to assist Mardoc by checking the map etc.

Settings preferences:
* EitB 0009
* Quick
* Emperor
* Ancient start (could be advanced or with shade)
* Starting units - default
* Wildlands on
* Living World on
* Orthus on
* No Acheron (unless preplaced)
* Normal barbs
* Restricted Leaders from "losers" list
* No Vassals
* No Tech Trading
* No Statis
* AI diplo
* Huts on
* Lairs on, but protected with various held units. Epic lairs should have very strong defenders
* Basium: Human take over - off (i.e. user can switch to Basium, but either Basium or original civ will be AI)
* Hyborem: Human take over - on
* Something to make ToM victory a more challenging to reach - e.g. it could require some other expensive tech as a prerequisite or that collecting sufficient amount of mana is challenging requiring conquest or trading with 2 other players
Concerning map:
I don't like the idea of island based map unless we ban OO. Map maker could try Seven's Torusland that is just minorly fixed to be better suited for EitB/FFH, but should have above average natural balance (not perfect) and is mostly land, but water is still meaningful. It could be waterways and have some mountains that are stacked together to make some natural borders e.g. 8% setting could work.
