There's a chance this becomes relevant. It's probably best to answer this now, while you're still in the picking phase, rather than argue about it later.

My vote: ban stasis. That was in plako's list of settings, which I'd been assuming is our template.

Abstain.

Ban Stasis. It's really annoying (though in SP I find the Draw the worst thing Auric can do to you).

I vote for Stasis ban.

If I wasn't fully booked already this would seem an ideal time to jump in to FFH/EitB. Maybe next game!

Auric's primary purpose in SP seems to be to annoy the player. I bet I've lost a dozen workers to frostling wolf riders on the turn they're created. I've rushed Auric before in SP when he started too close, just to get him out of the game.

Another thing that hasn't been specified is ToM. I'd like to have it available but require omniscience to build.

A starting shade is okay with me.

If stasis is banned, are we doing the worker+tech compensation thing?

Sounds good to me. I think we've got a consensus now, at least on everything that the mapmaker needs to know?

Wait, that's not true. What about Orthus? Orthus On was on Plako's list of settings IIRC, and nobody's voiced a contrary opinion... are we playing with Orthus on?

What happened to this guy? lol

Compensation for loss of stasis is ok by me.

No compensation needed, IMO. The Illians still have plenty of other tricks. And noone is being forced to choose them.
