My point was that if you're saying someone has a 50% chance of being a screwup, then you're not praising their judgement. At least most players would aim for a better track record than that.

You realize that this is the same kind of first post reasoning that got your scumbuddy Brick into trouble last game?

As far as I remember it wasn't his first post that got him in trouble. It was his restatement of the argument against Azza, followed by bringing the rage.

It's the first post, I've always seen them as mostly meaningless in themselves. Theoretically, people's reactions to different names may provide a little evidence later on though.

I agree with you here.

Well I think his post that sanity was on a scale of 0-40 and that brick was claiming to have some sort of sanity-linked post restriction came out of nowhere even for MJW. If he's a wolf he might have a more educated idea about the sanity mechanics than a villager would, because the wolves probably have some ability that's tied to sanity levels.

Lynch tells, nothing strikes me as obvious. Q feels curt and I'm a relatively easy mislynch, so good to go after. On the otherhand my first post was apparently pretty baity based on the reactions of most.

I don't want to kill Brick entirely because I'm enjoying his posts. Zak and you are sparring, leaves me fairly convinced that my vote for you has less of a point than it did in the first place.

I initially thought Brick's PR looked a bit fake because he had the ability to quote other posts, which could be used to circumvent any other restrictions. But if he can only quote whole posts, it makes more sense. So I'm currently more inclined to believe that it's a genuine restriction.

Alright, that makes sense to me.

I don't think MJW is scum. I don't agree with sweeping statements like "If this is correct Brick should thumb-up this post. Then we know that sanity is out of 40 or Brick is a wolf." But he feels like he's saying what is on his mind, and some of it is not that well thought out. I think wolves are likely to be much more careful about their postings than MJW is.

I think Day 1 has played out enough times with vocal people being hanged for perceived slip ups, wolf or town, that wolves are likely to lay low. So I'm wary of players who haven't posted much yet.

Uberfish, for making one post, and that one adding to the lead candidate MJW bandwagon.
