Only the village win for me. Like I said before, I don't have any indication that this whole lost soul searching for body thing is anything more than flavor for my quicktopic ability

Well, that would make a vig-shot that only hits non-human a much more reasonable ability, if there are town-aligned non-humans.

I was commenting on Zak's theory that Azza and Slowcheetah were scum buddies, but I forgot that Azza's name wasn't revealed in red.

In that case, why are we assuming Azza even has a scum buddy? In fact, didn't Zak ask this exact question earlier?

No - I asked if there was any particular reason to assume that he was working alone, as people seemed to be jumping to that conclusion.

Lewwyn - I agree that the idea of three neighbors with three different alignments is pretty neat and I definitely saw that one coming. And if I were scum you can rest assured I would have steered well clear of that hornet's nest, and stayed quiet about the whole neighbor thread.

I think we have a very solid lead on Slowcheetah being a ghoul, and I've been focusing on that today. I'm not dismissing the possibility of additional ghouls either, which is why it had some value to let the discussion run freely before I revealed my information. I have a less clear idea about who the wolves are (just to go along with the assumption that there is a second scum faction by that name). Which is pretty natural, given that no wolves have been flipped. So therefore, I focus on the leads that we do have.

This is how it always goes in multi-faction games, it seems. First I need to hunt down one scum faction (e.g., the SK in the previous game), and then I automatically catch a ton of heat for not hunting the other one (e.g., the wolves in the previous game). How about we just lynch the scum in front of us instead of outsmarting ourselves and lynching the one who's trying to lynch the scum in front of us?

It also feels like Zak is frightened when he makes his posts. That's very unusual, since village Zak is confidence impersonated.

If I came across as frightened, it might be because I am uncannily prescient when it comes to people suspecting me (see above), and I hate it when that happens. In particular, I hate it when I get the feeling that I'm being pursued by villagers, which is probably the case with Lewwyn here. You know I tend to come off as prematurely defensive because I try to nip those things in the bud and it usually backfires.

I don't think Zak would miss the point made regarding what would be Slowcheetah motivation to kill Rowain, since Rowain thought he was innocent. Not unless he is a wolf fabricating a case.

I don't see what I missed here - I never suggested or in any way implied that Slowcheetah/Azza tried to kill Rowain. Rowain seems like a perfectly plausible wolf kill, and Lewwyn has already enumerated some options for why the other kill is missing. My impression is that Azza was trying to build trust with Rowain and me, so if they did attempt a kill it's possible that they didn't target either of us. Or maybe they tried to kill me and I was protected. Or maybe the scum factions have alternating kills. Or who knows.

Anyway, the thing about Azza's post in defense of Slowcheetah is this. Why did he only post it in the neighbor thread? If he just wanted to be active, collect towncred, or whatnot, why not post publicly? He knew that Rowain and I were liable to vote as a block and so he made a targeted effort to get us off Slowcheetah. But he didn't want to be seen to defend him in public. That's pretty telling.

Besides, why would he defend anyone so strongly, if there are multiple scum factions? If Slowcheetah isn't in league with Azza, Azza would have to consider that I might be right about Slowcheetah, and Slowcheetah could be a wolf. Hence, he would be taking a big risk to defend him so strongly like that. Take into account the fact that Azza must have had a genuine desire to catch wolves, and there's no reason why he wouldn't go along with my wish to vote as a block for Slowcheetah.

I'm having similar thoughts to Lewwyn regarding the gossip QT reveal:

- a 1-1-1 alignment split in there is very plausible
- Zak could easily have edited posts in the QT dump if he wanted to make SC look bad. Since I don't trust Zak, I'm not accepting any of that as evidence against SC.
- Convenient that Zak chooses to reveal just after I call him out for sitting in the background so that he looks like he's contributing now.

Also, Zak apparently isn't interested in the Gazglum case one way or the other apart from trying to get Ichabod's opinion on me. Gazglum mentioned Zak as a potential wolf a couple of times now and has shown no actual interest in investigating him either. That's suspicious. If one of them is a wolf, the other is a likely partner. I think we should lynch one of these two today.

@Pind, no I don't have your body (or nose), I was actually just asking to see if it made sense in context.
