For what we are about to receive, may we be truly thankful:

Is this a good development? I could see it from either side...

Well, from your side, it's a great development. Zulus retook the city with only 12 cats, 3 maces, and 3 muskets lost. For my side, it's pretty crummy, but that's life in PB8 now.

Are the lost rifles drafted?
How's my elephants doing, is it still at the border with Serdoa?
What's your tech plan?

I meant it maybe a good thing that scoopin used lots of CG stuff in that attack, instead of guarding cities with them. .. but yeah that's some bad dice man.

1. Nope, upgrades and a couple builds. duh
2. Gosh, he gets around, I think he's guarding Isle of Sins (Callum's Villa) now after conquering Rome, covering knights in India, and sniping evacuating knights after Songbird.
3. Scientific Method now, steal Communism for State Property swap before the GA ends, then either Steel, Steam Power, or MilTrad. In a peaceful game I think I'd go Constitution and Biology and crank some lovely Envirofarm Specialist Economy.

Well, it's damn streaky. I simmed it quick and dirty once but forgot to give the cats that yummy Theocracy XP; Barrage II is murder on a stack. But even still, I got hurt in that initial bombardment...that ought to have cost them a great deal more. Ironically, my single rifle on a hill outside the city killed 50% as much as the whole post-cat garrison. frown

If the game continues I'm just going to sit and build a super-stack. 51 rifles on 17 galleons under at least 25 frigates, fork Culvers/Sid's, and crush them. Sadly, Slowcheetah defense is needed west, so the Western Empire is going to be diverting forces there too now that my crumple zone is kaput.

Damnit, can someone go explain to Bigger that it's hopeless? Unless Plako and Serdoa are functionally retarded, they know the Dutch are going for a CV, hell, they knew a hundred turns ago when they followed Plako to music and got the Sistine. This ain't PB6, guys.
